The Austin City Ballet welcomes audiences of all ages to enjoy its inspirational dance performances. Each year we produce the Austin Children's Nutcracker (see AUDITIONS page for information!) as well as a story Ballet in the Spring. Other productions include Jazz, Contemporary, Tap and Musical Theater works.
The Austin City Ballet is the oldest pre-professional dance company in Austin and is comprised of dancers ages 8-18 who want to perform and train at a more intense level, all while forming long-lasting friendships and becoming part of a close knit family. The Austin City Ballet was founded in 1991, originally as The Conservatory Dance Theatre, for dance students at The Austin Conservatory of the Arts and local dance students to enjoy a pre professional performing experience. This year we celebrated our 28th birthday as the premiere training organization and serve Austin, Cedar Park, Pflugerville, Round Rock, and Georgetown.
The Austin City Ballet was founded in 1991, originally as The Conservatory Dance Theatre, for local dance students to enjoy a pre-professional training and performing experience. In 2000, CDT became The Austin City Ballet and a non profit 501(c)3 organization.
After 25 years as a small civic company, ACB now encompasses The Performing Arts Conservatory which offers students the opportunity to hone their skills with professional training in dance and theatre including acting and voice.Annually, the ACB performing company presents the Austin Children's Nutcracker.

Our instructors are highly qualified, experienced and passionate, providing a high level of technical instruction and fun to all ages and abilities. We not only teach technique, poise, rhythm and grace, we also teach dedication, team work and discipline. It is our goal to create an environment for our students to experience the combination of dance and life training.
The Performing Arts Conservatory is the educational division of the Austin City Ballet. We offer dance instruction for all ages and abilities throughout the year in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern and Musical Theater. My daughter is having a great experience being a part of this ballet company. She's learning a lot and having fun.
We are back, and better than ever! Thank you to the City of Austin Economic Development Department for offering the "Austin Artist Access Program" because we are recipients of this amazing program. AND.this July at the DAC, a virtual Performance Project 2021! Looking back, yes, I made too many comebacks.
