Michael is a structural engineer and principal at Damron Engineering and Consulting. He has more than 25 years of experience in the design, evaluation, analysis, and repair of structural building systems for a variety of project types. Prior to beginning his career as a structural engineer, he served as a construction contractor serving the residential and commercial markets.
Having served as a project owner, a construction contractor, and a consultant working for owners, Michael has a unique perspective on the various aspects of a project. With each project, he thinks beyond his direct role and considers how his work will affect the entire life of a structure. He communicates that information and more with everyone involved in the project to meet the client's goals.

Services
Understanding the conditions and determining the right course of action is critical to any project. This work can be done at any stage of a building's life from pre-construction to changes in use and to demolition and reconstruction. We begin with determining what the client's needs are and then evaluate what the facility assets are and what the potential options are to meet their needs.

Mike just recently inspected/reviewed a structural change that I had done in my house remodel. I was on a time crunch and Mike was able to work me into his schedule and get his report out to me before any other engineering companies called me back. He was very personable and knowledgeable. I would definitely work with Mike again.

I've worked with Mike Damron for close to 10 years and have always had a positive experience. Mike knows his field, is timely , always meeting timelines and creative in solutions. As a Landscape Architect who can make things challenging with all the 'curves' thrown in some of my plans it is good to know Mike is there to make sure it all works!
