Professional coaching is a distinct service which focuses on an individual's life as it relates to goal setting, outcome creation and personal change management. In an effort to understand what a coach is, it can be helpful to distinguish coaching from other professions that provide personal or organizational support.
You can expect someone who is interested in listening to your concerns and in helping you develop a better understanding of them so that you may deal with them more easily and effectively. Your counselor will take you seriously and be willing to openly discuss anything you wish to discuss. Expect your counselor to focus the session on you, and not on others.
All payments are due in full by cash, check, or credit card at the end of each session unless other arrangements are made. Many insurance plans are accepted. For those wishing to file with their own insurance company the necessary form will be provided.
