I wish I could give zero stars. This agency never paid many of it's original models. I know of one in particular that fought hard for two years to get her money, went to court, and WON and still was never paid THOUSANDS that she was owed. Her name is Marissa Luck and she is not afraid to say it publicly herself. Ask questions before you sign with an agency and be VERY careful and watch your money. Don't take new jobs with an agency that has not paid you for past jobs. And if you book jobs yourself, research what you owe your agency. Because she booked many jobs herself and still paid Justin Brown

Brown has been incredible about finding me auditions. I’ve always found them to be professional and proactive. Happy to have found them.

BLUF: As you can see from other reviews, Brown has no reservations about burning bridges, and it's often over money. In my experience they did not have interest in doing what was best for me at all even though I did everything they ever asked of me without incident. I would not recommend them.

A giant bummer. A lot of girls have asked me how The Brown Agency in Austin, Tx is. Justin Brown stole a lot of money for me. I chased him for it for so long. I finally sued and won and settled for less than what I was owed because I just wanted it to be over. He still HAS NOT ever paid. People at least deserve to know what kind of a human being he is and what kind of a business man he is. A man who couldn't even show up to court in his own town, even though I flew from California for the hearing. There's a word for people like you. But i'll just leave the facts. https://www.facebook

Owes me money. I sued and won. Still have not been paid. He is a thief and a conman. I never received my headshots I paid for and I let that go. And then occasionally, every other job, I just wouldn't see a paycheck and he would have some excuse like "Oh, we switched accountants and I can't access that info right now" & more. Please be diligent in reading ALL reviews on this agency and "Wilhelmina Brown" which is what his agency was named before and Wilhelmina took their name back because of all the trouble with his corrupt company.

We went in for an open spot interview. Upon arrival, we were greeted kindly by the receptionist and she informed us of the process. The interviewing agents were very respectful and incredibly sweet to my 2 daughters as well as myself during the meetings. They handled the meeting with professionalism and high degree of proficiency.

There are many good agencies in Austin/Dallas/Houston and this isn't one of them. If you want quality management and to get paid in a timely manner by an agency that has your best interest in mind, check out others i.e Bankston Talent, Acclaim, Pastorini-Bosby, Neal Hamil, etc. Brown has a horrible reputation among local talent for good reason. I'd advise you go just about anywhere else.

I was given the opportunity to meet with the agents after submitting photos online through their website. They were very warm and welcoming to me as well as very professional. I don't have very much experience and therefore didn't get signed. However, they were very helpful and offered me guidance for pursuing work in the modeling industry. An overall positive experience.

I worked with Wilhelmina Brown awhile back and the good thing is they will keep you busy and send you on good auditions. But when it's time to pay....THEY DO NOT PAY! I haven't got paid for the work I put in for this agency.

What an awful experience with the Brown agency. After driving almost 2 hours from San Antonio I get to the scheduled appointment and no one is there. I had a confirmed email from Amanda with the date, time and location. So I call her and she tells me there is no casting due to the music festival. My poor little boy who had been looking forward to this for the past month was all dressed up and excited about the opportunity. Only to see the receptionist and no talent agents. A courtesy call or email is all that was necessary to cancel. I can only imagine what kind of business they book as a modeling

My wife came to an open call for Wilhelmina Brown and was selected to do print modeling but due to unforseen circumstances, we went another direction. We really loved their professionalism!! We were trying to reach them again and see that there was a merger. Well, we now have a Beautiful 10 month old daughter who has so much personality and beauty. Just submitted her pictures and hope to work with Brown Agency as time now permits.

Current model here! I've been with Brown for a number of years and I would highly recommend them as a talent agency. I get sent to castings consistently and book jobs consistently as well. They have always been professional and available when it comes to my questions and concerns. If you're looking for a good talent agency in Austin or Texas in general, Brown agency is the one for you.

This agency really IS just out for your money.
When I signed with them I told them I wanted to build my resume and started making a portfolio immediately. I had my head shots taken with them, paid for 3 which was $375, and only got two.

First Justin Brown told me that they had a photographer they loved and hair and make up would be provided for only $175. Then he said he wanted to have 3 looks for me to start off with. I thought, "wow 3 looks, hair and make up, for only $175?? Amazing!"
I thought I had gotten so lucky.
Then lo and behold I receive an invoice for $375, and I was irritated

This so called agency is out to get your money. They are completely unprofessional and have refused to respond to my phone calls and emails. The company owes me money for head shots that were not printed. The one response I received stated I was going to get my money refunded. Once I followed through with another email I was given no reply. Do not sign here. If you are looking for a talent agency I suggest going to a more populous city such as Dallas or Houston.
