Dr. Karlene Wright is committed to providing you the best dental care possible with the latest technology available. She earned her dental degree in 2001 at Howard University College of Dentistry and completed her residency the following year at Howard University Hospital.
Upon graduation, Dr. Wright received the prestigious Dr. E. Preston Lee Award for her proficiency in operative dentistry and the Dr. Coleman R. Tuckson and Mrs. Evelyn Tuckson Award to recognize her academic excellence in patient sensitivity and outstanding achievement in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology.

Bonding is a popular method to enhance the aesthetics of your smile. A composite resin is used on the affected tooth or teeth. It is molded and sculpted over an adhesive gel that is placed on the tooth.

From being kindly greeted by their multi-tasking front office staff to meeting the dental assistant, hygienist and dentist who I felt reassured by because of their thorough explanation of each step. Absolutely amazing dental practice. You are in good hands with Dr. Wright and her staff! The office is clean and relaxing and the staff is so warm and welcoming. I had a tooth repair with Dr. Wright and the whole time she made sure I was comfortable. I had zero discomfort.
Totally random but you can watch Youtube videos during your procedure. I watched waves crashing on the beach to put me at ease. Just a little quirky thing but I thought it was worth mentioning!

After changing dentist 3 times over the past 3 years we have finally found a practice that we both love and want to stick with. Everyone you engage with has a welcoming personality and greets you when you walk in. They listen to your questions but also give you visual information. I wanted to get Zoom/ In Office whitening but other practices I went to just simply told me the price and what they had to offer. This morning I brought my 17month old to the dentist for the first time. From the receptionist to hygienist to Dr. Wright, this entire team is AMAZING. Everyone is so friendly and it just instantly puts you at ease. It's nice to finally find a dentist again that feels like visiting friends and family while having top notch care.

I recently had to switch dentists due to a change of insurance. I hit the jackpot! During my initial visit, X-rays and pictures were taken. I needed a follow-up appointment for a filling I'd needed for a while due to my grinding. I was very nervous, but Dr. Wright and her staff did everything to put me at ease. They even held my hand (yes, I'm a baby!). I felt no pain whatsoever, and I left feeling better about needing dental work in the future. I would recommend Dr. Wright to all of my friends!

The staff was welcoming and positive. They really took the time to make sure I knew what my insurance would cover before charging me any patient fees. I saw very detailed images of my teeth...in color, not just in x-ray format. The environment is calm. I was able to look through their window and relax watching the trees wave while I waited. I am recommending this dental office not only for the general public but also for my family and friends.
