Services
Sylvia completed an intense 600-hour program at The American Institute of Education in Long Beach, California in 2000. She then opened her practice in Federal Way, Washington. An electrology license is not required in the State of Washington so Sylvia took both a written and practical exam in California since she feels it is important to be licenced to practice electrology.
Sylvia's office is located in the Laidlaw Tower building in the friendly Bethany neighborhood. It is just a block off Bethany Blvd on NW Laidlaw Road. There is ample parking in front of the building. Sylvia's office is on the second floor of the building in suite 224. When you enter the office, please make yourself comfortable and help yourself to some cold water or a calming cup of tea.
Consultations are always free but do need to be scheduled. At that time, Sylvia will go over the procedure, explain the process and answer your questions. Treatments are by appointment only. Please give 24-hour notice if you are unable to keep your appointment so that someone else can have that time.

Sylvia made me uncomfortable on multiple occasions by raising charged political topics while performing laser/electrolysis services. She expressed views about vaccines and January 6th that I found disturbing. Based on her comments, I am not certain if she is vaccinated for COVID, which is also concerning to me.
Additionally, Sylvia initially indicated to me that she would try to help me with documentation needed to file an insurance claim for my hair removal services, but after repeated attempts to contact her and follow up she has ignored me and I am left in the lurch.

Sylvia is great. She is very professional and place is very clean. This was first time for me to have electrolysis done, but she made it very comfortable. She showed me how she uses unopened new probe and sterilized tweezers everytime. I definitely recomend her.

So I texted her to schedule an appointment and she said she had availability the next week on a certain I told her what day I would be available to come in. She never responded. The day before the appointment I texted her to confirm the appointment and I never got a response back. It only takes a few minutes to give someone an update.
