Strengthen the connections between visual and performing arts by working with other arts organizations. The Ballet School of Stamford was founded in 1998 as a non-profit organization. We have earned a reputation of nurturing young dancers through a disciplined and focused training program that brings out the best of their natural talent.
We are in the process of raising funds to buildout our new home at Stamford Town Center. Our goal is to raise $30,000. The first $5,000 will be match by an anonymous donor who believes in the power of dance education to change lives! In order to best place a student in a level that will be most conducive to his or her improvement, a placement audition may be necessary for students over the age of eight. Student placement for all levels above Elementary requires a placement class. The tuition amounts listed below are per semester.
The Ballet School of Stamford Foundation has provided over $1,000,000 in scholarships to local students since opening in 1998. Some of these students have studied with us for more than 10 years. Over 24,000 Stamford Public School students have attended our Spring ballet performance at Stamford's Palace Theater for free.
The Ballet School of Stamford is extremely proud of our alumni. Whether our students have gone on to dance professionally or have chosen another path they have gained immeasurably from having studied with us. Our graduates have developed time management skills, discipline, poise, grace, healthy habits and an appreciation for the arts, which they will carry with them throughout their lives.
