Services
We will create a new a new lush lawn by improving areas of your existing one or starting over with a new one. We offer Spring and Fall Cleanups, including trimming, removing debris from mulch beds and turf and more! We personalize your landscape design to complement your home's architecture. We will work with you to create the perfect landscape that suits your particular needs and tastes, and help maintain it after.
String trimming will occur in areas inaccessible by lawn mower, as well as established mulch bed edges. Grass clippings and debris will be cleaned from all patios, sidewalks and curbs with a power blower. Early Spring-Pre-emergent crabgrass control and a balanced fertilizer + broadleaf weed spray control.
Mechanically remove plugs of soil to help control thatch and improve air/water circulation to roots of turf. Dethatch is needed when thatch is too thick for turf to grow successfully, after dethatching, a premium compost/top soil mix is applied to provide a fresh layer of nutrient rich soil to the existing clay giving seed optimal growth conditions.

Do NOT use them. Used the app lawnstarter and only had minimal issues before with them (not quality work with this company). Came home today to a broken screen door and glass EVERYWHERE. The neighbors confirmed it was their company and we received a message saying, "The glass was already broken when we got there." We also have surveillance. The right thing to do would be to just offer reimbursement, we understand mistakes happen but DON'T LIE. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY WITH YOUR PROPERTY.

I have lived in 3 different homes in northern va, from 1/2 acre to over 5 acres for over18 years. I have, in the past, tried several companies, and never was satisfied until I tried
J&M.
They were very cooperative and professional with excellent follow-up if it was needed.
The workmen they employed were hard working and friendly, and very professional compared to others I have used.
In the past, I have recommended them to other acquaintances.
Even more importantly, their pricing was very reasonable.

They did my mulch, cut edges, planted a few trees/bushes and Flowers! They were very professional and quick at a reasonable price. I'd rather have a small local business that actually cares about me and my yard than one of those big companies where I'm just another number. Thanks for doing a great job Jim!
