Little Beginnings Learning Center is a Christian center dedicated to developing deep roots in appreciation for the nature around us, family togetherness, individual discoveries, and rich hands-on learning experiences. Little Beginnings Learning Center is a Christian childcare facility and has provided quality child care in Hastings, MN, since 1999.
Little Beginnings is proud to have a wide variety of qualified and dedicated staff. We are licensed through the state of Minnesota, ensuring that each staff person meets or exceeds the requirements. Little Beginnings also boasts a low turn-over rate. Because we are a family, our staff stay for years.

We are always looking for new ideas to expose the kids to throughout the year. If you, or someone you know, has a talent or location that can teach and entertain, we would love to know! By utilizing and working with people in and around our community, we can honor each other's knowledge and culture.
The food we serve our children each day is full of great nutrients but also is kid-friendly. Children should have 2-3 servings each day. These include things like 1/4 cup cooked, frozen, or canned fruit, 1/2 piece of fresh fruit, or 1/4 cup of 100% real juice. Children should have 6-11 servings each day.

Little Beginnings has been a wonderful place for our child to learn and grow. Being in constant communication via the Brightwheel App is a wonderful tool to be connected with your child/children throughout the day. The staff are amazing and they truly care about all of the kids and treat them like family! It is hard to leave each day without our child finding a teacher to give a hug to! We would highly recommend Little Beginnings for anyone looking for childcare or preschool options!

Owner and all staff are super friendly and communicate well. The Brightwheel app is awesome! It is so nice to see photos of my child and to know they are being well cared for throughout the day. I also enjoy seeing all the creative activities my child can experience each day. Facility is also very clean, has separate rooms for different age ranges, and a great outdoor space. Highly recommend!

I couldn’t speak more highly of everyone at Little Beginnings. We made a change to this center when our child was about 2.5 and it has been the best choice we’ve made. The teachers are phenomenal, center is so well designed and the curriculum surpasses my expectations every day.

My daughter loves her school. She has been there for almost a year. We have had such a wonderful experience so far. The school has an amazing app whereby you are informed throughout the day as to what activities are being done, how long your child has napped and what they’ve eaten etc. You also get the cutest photos of your kids during the day. The school is transparent, professional and they really care about the kids and their families. I’m extremely satisfied with our experience so far.

I personally went to Little Beginnings as a toddler, and I remembered all the fun I had and decided to enroll my daughter too. She loves her teachers, (Miss Liz and Mr. Blake especially), the activities they do keep her engaged and learning throughout the day. She has grown and blossomed so much since starting at Little Beginnings, I would never send my kids anywhere else!

I am beyond satisfied with the results of our 1st year with Little Beginnings Learning Center. The staff, teachers and facilities have made our granddaughter's time there special. She looks forward to going in the morning and as reluctant to leave in the afternoon because of the friendships she's made and the activities that they do. She has learned so much and had so many new experiences in classroom, on the playground, in the gym and on field trips. I wouldn't want to send her anywhere else for her pre-school years.

My son has been going here for two years, starting as an infant, and my daughter will also be starting soon as well. I cannot say enough about the teachers here and the care and love they give our children. It really does feel like family. I also feel the education is second to none. Our son is thriving here and and we love the variety of education and free play he receives everyday. From learning manners, to stories and songs and art, he is growing into a very well rounded little boy. We are so happy with our experience so far at LBLC!

My son has been attending Little Beginnings Learning center for many years now. The facilities are very clean, and I feel very safe with the faculty taking care of my kid. The teachers are very caring, and I do not feel like I am dropping off my son to people who are watching over him. The staff actually cares for my child and knows him very well.

The teachers take great care of my son; they personally care for his wellbeing, his education, and his growth personally and socially. They truly love him and I appreciate all they do for my child! My son loves being dropped off to "see his friends." I can tell Little Beginnings takes exceptional care of him! A huge plus: It's pretty awesome that I can communicate with my one year old using sign language (that Little Beginnings taught him). It really helps make my job as a parent easier, and helps my child communicate his wants and needs.
