Worst experience ever!! Don't take this cab service company. The owner straight out told me that he can and will not do anything about one of his cab Driver who purposely left after only a few minutes of waiting. Not once but everytime I call and they send cab 142 it's the same thing. I asked him why does he call then leave right away because he is wasting my time. The worst there is no support from the company they don't care if I have a complaint to even talk to the cab. They just say to call the police. It's a same that this the way these people chose to run their business and I have been loyal

In the past week I’ve tried out this taxi company twice in which I’ve had a negative experience both times. The first I got a super rude taxi driver. I live on a busy street which is one lane and narrow first of all he went way past where I live which would be fine but he didn’t even try remotely parking he stopped in the middle of the road. I had my child with me because my car broke down and as I tried getting into the car he drove away. I was like okay maybe he didn’t see me. Well I called and my daughter was waiting outside she called me to tell me that the taxi was here and it just drove past us and then I called and they said there wasn’t any taxis in the area I explain to them that they just got here and he said they were waiting and no one came out when my daughter was right outside now it’s made us late thanks I recommend not using this taxis service 😡

There is a reason Uber exists and it’s because of cab companies like this one. Dishonest drivers, overcharging, unreliable. I wish I had looked online to see the reviews before riding with this company. This company is basically extorting its customers. Needless to say I won’t be using them again.

Car 86 has a meter that is too fast.when i told him.he yelled at me..i had to get out before my stop because already the price was too high.i take taxis all the time and its never as high as today.please haved the driver adjust his meter and attitude.next time.im reporting to police.

I just waited 30 minutes for a taxi that I was told would take 15 to get to me. At the 17 minute mark I called to see how far my taxi was and the dispatcher told me 7 more minutes. The driver was stuck in traffic. Cut to a whole second 7 minutes later I called back for them to tell me they can’t find a driver. Why tell me you have one that would be there in 7 minutes if you had no drivers? Why waste my time? I have to get work. On top of the fact that I had to call them to figure it out. Will NEVER use this car service again! I tried getting a price quote beforehand and got the run around from the dispatcher who kept forwarding me to a mailbox that was full and while I was on hold waiting to get a quote I received a telephone call from the driver saying he was downstairs. I needed to get to my appointment so I had no choice at this point but to go. It took the driver 4 minutes to look up my destination on his cellphone, the seat belts did not work, AND I was definitely overcharged for my ride and didn’t realize he had dropped me off about 1/2 a block away from my destination😡😡😡

I wanted to Reserve a Taxi to take me to the Bronx and Back and I got the Dispatcher who wobbled between Rates, stating that it's up to the Driver!
I asked why? He said that's the way it is, I cant Guarantee the price I just gave you, it's up to the Driver. So, I said then I am going into this Blind regarding Money. He Hung up on me. I will NOT
use this Service Ever. Splendid? Not so much.
I did however call ARROW and it was completely done professionally, USE THEM INSTEAD.

If a zero was available, it would have been the rating of choice for this sorry excuse for a transportation or "service" company. They constantly lie and mislead about their timeline and availability, and apparently have so much business despite COVID and Uber or Lyft that they think it funny (literally laugh out loud) when you question their ETA. We will never call them again, and neither will the restaurant that tried to arrange the trip for us. Charged me $16.00 to go from Greenburgh to Elmsford! They stuck me up without a Pistol!! I forgot! The driver told me that the DISPATCHER is in Columbia and I said, "The Country?" And he said yes!??! What the Hell?????

Splendid is the worst company, I called a taxi to the train station made me waste my time waiting and they didn't send one. I called and they said they didn't know what happened to the other taxi they will send a new one and will be there in 4minutes. I waited 30 minutes and no one came. I don't recommend ANYONE using it. No one gives you an accurate answer. They are unprofessional & rude. Call Arrow taxi!!!

I've used Splendid for a long time and they've always been great within the Harrison and White Plains area - arriving within at most one or two minutes when called or if it was set for a specific time, sometimes arriving 5-10 minutes early with a call or text to inform me they've arrived.
I was in Rye today and needed a ride back from the area. Rye is a little bit out of the way of the main area Splendid operates within, but it's listed as an area that they service, and I have gotten rides to and from there in the past without issue, so I called. The dispatcher confirmed a taxi would be coming

This company should not be used by anyone. Their driver picked up my daughter at brazen fox in white plains and drove her around for an hour while making inapproprite comments. The trip is only a 15 minute trip. He was abusive and scared her. This is unacceptable. We called the company and they were not helpful at all.

All women should be aware that this company has drivers that are not monitored. Do not get in these cars.

I've been on occasion. From north white plains train station to a 3 minute drive up the street, in the day they have the meters running and I pay just shy 6 bucks. I have no problems with that. What bothers me is at night they charge me 8 bucks as if gas prices go up at night. I'm tired of paying extra at night for the same fare. I will no longer use this cab company. Just call arrow taxi at least they are honest and consistent with fare. 6 bucks.

I wish I could give no stars because this is the worst car service I have ever used. This review is not based on a single experience - it is the result of multiple failures on the part of this very poorly run company. Aside from the general indifference you experience from reception when you call, I have on a number of occasions been quoted a price from a drive from point "A" to point "B" only to have the driver charge me a dollar or two or three more. These were local trips in White Plains. Ok. No big deal - never posted a bad review - but frustrating nonetheless.

Awful! I was disappointed with Splendid years ago and I promised myself I would never call them again. I was forced to call them tonight because the weather was snowy and no other cabs were picking up the phone. I needed to be home at a certain time when my kids got dropped off from my ex. I called 45 minutes before I needed to be home and finally got the ok they were coming. Guy came, spoke to us and refused us because too much snow where we live. Funny... our area is the most plowed and salted in the area. We live in the same town we called from! Weather is not that different

Worst customer service ever. Lady that answers the phone was rude and then hung up on me 5 times. I usually take this company once or twice a day now I will never use them again.
If I were you any needing a taxi call arrow or anyone else. SPLENDID is the worst company I have ever encountered. And on top of it there prices change everyday. Rude people and price changes. Good job guys doing well!!!!

This morning it took almost a half hour for the cab to pick me up. They were not busy so not quite sure why it took so long, especially since I was on Mamaroneck Ave. This is not the first time this has happened. Wish they would bring back the kabx app, their service seemed much more efficient then.

When I called to check on where the cab was they hung up on me!!!!!!!!
I extend both the drivers and dispatchers the every courtesy and have not even complained when various drivers charged me different fares for the same ride.

Rip off...charged us $25 for two ppl and than THREE HOURS later the charge $35....do not take. What a scam

I avoided using them for about a year because of their rude and unprofessional behavior. However, I had to use them again recently (had no choice).
Their rules:

1. If you call us at 6:30 and we show up at 6:35, you better be waiting or we will leave in less than five minutes.

2. If you call us at 6:30 we can also show up at 6:55, and you better be waiting or we will leave in less than five minutes.

3. We charge you what we want.

In other words, we should be grateful that Splendid has agreed to drive us someplace. We better stick to their rules because they are doing us a tremendous

Rudest cab company ever. Called and they wouldn't let me finish the sentence when they hung up on me. How do you expect to make money when you treat your customers like trash????? Called back and the guy was incredibly rude to me.

My wife is 9 months pregnant and she called Splendid Taxi this morning to bring us to the train station.

When we went outside, the driver was waiting for us. He looked at us, waved and said, "Sorry, I have to go!" as he drove away.

We will never use Splendid Taxi again.

I called Splendid Taxi 25 minutes before our train was leaving to make sure that we wouldn't miss the express. The guy who picked up said "right away". We go downstairs 5 minutes after I called and wait in the rain for a cab that never showed up after 15 minutes. We call them again and they said someone else took our taxi. That's impossible because no cab ever showed up. They never sent them. They offered to send another which came in about 3 minutes. We missed the express train and ended up having to sit on the train for an extra 15 minutes.

We used Splendid twice from White Plains to HPN and once to return from the airport to our home. The single most important requirement for us when we travel to or from the airport is that the car arrive when the appointed time comes. Splendid came right on time all three times.

We pre-arranged our pick up at home. We called from the airport and waited less then 10 minutes.

Never liked them, but tolerated it because you get what you get for taxi service in WP... until the other day and now I will swear off them!

Needed to catch a train in a hurry called them 25 minutes before the pick up--on a Sunday afternoon-ie. they aren't busy and they said someone will be there shortly. Waited, nothing. I called- some girl picked up and a guy shouted from far away LAUGHING someone will be there. I said ok and hung up. Waited more-called again begging them to hurry because I would miss my train. hung up on me, called again, hung up on me.
