1981 - After years of being active in the water sports community and teaching hundreds of people how to ski, Tommy Phillips decided to start a company that could serve all the needs of the water sports enthusiast. He opened shop on North Sheridan in Denver, Colorado and Tommy's Slalom Shop was born!

Tommy’s has been wonderful... everyone in sales, the pro shop, and service! Matt made our Axis A22 build and purchase process so simple and stress free! It was exciting to build, unwrap, and soon after see Matt deliver our custom boat to our lake home! The service department has truly been amazing and so quick to help! We can’t thank them enough!

What a great experience buying a boat. Tommy’s way exceeded our expectations and all of the employees we worked with were AWESOME! Sonny made our purchase through phone and email smooth and easy. I highly recommend Tommy’s of Grand Rapids. After being told by another marina that they couldn’t even look at our boat for 3 weeks Pete reached out and knew what our problem was just by hearing what was going on. He told me to call Sonny and he was awesome to work with!! My husband and I really appreciated their communication and how quick they were! We are grateful for a fast turn around and awesome service! UPDATE: general manager was very responsive and resolved our issues. I think a sales person can say a lot without giving any information and that’s what we feel happened here but management made it right and was very responsive and helpful.
**I do not recommend selling your boat on consignment here with Toni. She does not communicate, she left my title on a public counter with my personal information on it and expected us to sign off ownership with no documentation regarding the sale thankfully the general manager wrote me a letter, even though she did not communicate to him what the details

Toni, Sonny & the whole Tommy's GR team has been fantastic. We have nothing but amazing things to say about the experience. From walking in the shop and talking to all the staff to scheduling our boat delivery, we've been treated well. They spent a full day on the water teaching us all about our new Malibu and surfing. They've also been great with quick questions as we learn the details. We also had the boat up at Walloon for a couple weeks and were happy to get a dockside oil change to keep things running smooth. Keep up the great work Team Tommy's!

Huge THANK YOU to Jeff in service! I had an issue at the lake 4 hours away during the holiday weekend. He was able to diagnosis through our conversation on Sunday and had the replacement part at the shop when I got back from the weekend. The following weekend he walked me through how to make the fix step by step via phone and pictures. Extremely thankful for his ownership as a customer.
Cam is the man too! He runs a terrific shop and is always willing to help me out on gear, tubes, boards and whatever else I am curious about to add to the boat.

Where do I start??? First of all they sell the best brand boats with the best waves/wakes in the industry, Malibu and Axis. The sales people are honest, personable, and care about their customers. Their service department knows their products and are a dream to work with.
I bought a 2017 T22 and had a bunch of RGB Lighting installed and they knocked it out of the park. They gave me a killer deal and installed everything with photo updates. Can't say enough good things about the Tommy's team.
