There could be several reasons for a clogged sewer line. Broken pipes, debris and tree roots can all cause improper draining throughout the sewer system. Tree and shrub roots can grow into an old sewer pipe in search for water, causing a ruptured or clogged sewer line. Tree roots seeking out water are attracted to the available moisture in the sewer line and grow into the pipe through joints.

Called Ace sewer to unclog my sewer drain, they did show up a few hours after I called. After 15 minutes and 325 dollars later the tech said we were “all set” after getting home from work I went to check on the mess my wife said they left, a solid inch of sewage was left on the floor where the clogged drain was, the best part was when I went to the toilet in our basement and was greeted by a scene from trainspotting with feces and sewage all over my toilet and floor. Upon flushing said toilet it overflowed and so did the drain that was “all set” after 3 calls with no answer

Had them clean-out about 75' of my sewer drain b/c toilet wasn't flushing and was backing-up into sink & tub; GROSS! They (2 guys) were there from about 9:15AM to about 1:30PM. Said they used 2 cutters to get through, it was that bad. Charged me $450. Called the day b/f and they were able to get there the following morning.
