Terrible. Was trying to close on a reverse mortgage and was told by their “lawyers” that it was illegal for me to buy the reverse mortgage out. When I asked for said law they could not provide with any info and said our only choice was foreclosure. Communication is terrible as my lender could never get a hold of anyone here and would never receive callbacks. After going to another title company everything went smooth. So either the people here make up laws to not have to do jobs or don’t know what they are doing. Likely both. Take your business anywhere but here.

My experiance with Basin Abstract & Title has been mostly negative. Kinda wished I paid attention to the 1 star reviews everywhere. These ones seem to stay up. Live and learn I guess... And spend more than half a year trying to correct issues that have been just the absolute worst. I'm not saying don't go with these guys, what I am saying is just look at all your options. You deserve to at least do that for yourself.

I love the level of security that is applied when dealing with closing expenses. On closing day we were in and out in 30 minutes and they had the paperwork to our lender within the next 20 minutes. We had our keys to the new house right after! Liz was amazing, for a first time home buyer she really took the stress out of the experience.

Receptionist is rude. Do not trust these people read the fine print. They do not explain their contracts and we were lucky enough to have gotten a second opinion. The attourney tried to pull one over us by adding her name to a contract that had nothing to do with her. Please read everything before signing away.

This place is a complete mess. Total run a round with these rude ladies. Had an appointment at 3pm, showed up ten minutes early and no one knew what was going on. The receptionist is way out of touch with realty and doesn't sound like she knows the duties of her job. One lady said internet was down, then another said they're waiting on closing docs from lender. We've been sitting on a couch now for thirty three minutes and three people have walked in and said they haven't received phone calls back from anyone regarding their funding.
