Services
Our goal at Family First Environmental is to consistantly be the best in providing comprehensive investigation, accurate testing and an easy to read report that is completed and delivered by email; to be proactively responsive to our client's needs; to treat all our clients in a professional, personal manner, and to let our clients know that we remain available for consultation.
We suggest that if you suspect, or are concerned that you may have a mold problem, that you call us and discuss the situation with one of our Certified Professionals. An appointment for inspection and testing can be arranged at a time that is convenient for you. We will inspect the building for "Red Flags" (possible mold sources) and evaluate the conditions for testing.
Everyone is exposed to mold in the outdoor air. When mold grows indoors exposure is greater, which is unhealthy for anyone. People with breathing difficulties, immune system problems or allergies, are more likely to be the first to have ill effects. Infants and children, pregnant women, and the elderly can be more sensitive to the effects of mold exposure than healthy adults.
Mold is a fungi which is found in our natural environment. When mold enters our indoor environment and mold spore counts are elevated, that is when we become concerned. Our level of concern is then based upon the type of mold and any adverse health effects that may be attributable to exposure. Researchers at the Mayo Clinic report that they have identified mold as the leading cause of most chronic sinus infections.
