Walk through the period arcitecture and visit unique restaurants, brewery, baker, coffee shops, gift shops, and more. Byrd's Branch Campground is located in the Foothills of Elkin, North Carolina. With 14 RV sites and 4 tent sites it offers a relaxing getaway the whole family can enjoy!
The back-in sites are nestled up to a flowing creek that runs throughout the campground with large, shaded backyard areas, with your fire pits located along the creek, a favorite for the kids! The pull-thru sites are wide and spacious enough to accommodate all big rig sizes, with a nice open play area adjacent that offers corn hole and a community fire pit area perfect for social gatherings.

MerleFest, considered one of the premier music festivals in the country, serves as an annual homecoming for musicians and music fans. Held on the campus of Wilkes Community College in Wilkesboro, NC.

This was our first stay at Byrd's Branch Campground. We are so happy we chose Byrd's Branch for our first camping experience. The location, county store, graveled site, fire pit by the creek, bathhouses, etc. was top notch. We could see the owner's, Dwayne & Larena, special touch all around the campground. They are super friendly & helpful. They even hosted a New Years Eve bonfire social for all the campers. We will definitely stay here again.

If you are going to be in the Elkin area do not miss an opportunity to stay at Byrd's Branch Campground. You will love it. Awesome place, very well kept, clean, peaceful and a beautiful area. The owners, Dwayne and Larena are very accomadating, extremely helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Fabulous people. We loved our stay.

I just spent a week at Byrd Branch campground. I was located in spot 14. Which is located just down the road from main campground and office.
It was clean quiet and close to all types of area attractions.
The owners are fabulous people and very meticulous about there campground. They were available to you if needed and were a wealth of knowledge about the area and all it provides.
The rates are very reasonable and can accommodate all size vehicles. It is a great place time spend a quiet weekend or longer.
The wineries in the area are plentiful and local restaurants provide all types of tasty

Dwayne and Lorrana operate a above the board Campground. Thee sites are very well maintained. The amenities are excellent. They have full hook up sites and sites with just power and water. For those sites there is a dump station by the office. There are several fantastic trails in the area for hiking or bike riding. There a winery's and brewery close by. Both are great places to visit.
