Midori Nishida, N.D. studied naturopathic medicine at National College of Natural Medicine (former National College of Naturopathic Medicine-NCNM) in Portland, Oregon and began practicing in 2001. First eight years Dr. Nishida worked with various holistic medical doctors and practitioners in integrated medical clinics.
The word, "Essence" captures my practice. I seek to find the true cause and core issues that are negatively affecting the body and hindering it from returning to its optimum state. Once I identify the obstacles, then I formulate an individualized treatment plan using a combination of natural remedies and therapies.
The resolution recognizes the value of naturopathic medicine in providing safe, effective, and affordable health care and encourages Americans. There is no end to the tricks that endocrine disruptors can play on our bodies: increasing production of certain hormones; decreasing production of others; imitating hormones; turning one hormone into another; interfering with hormone signaling; telling cells.
