Please allow me to take a moment of your time to introduce myself to you. I am a licensed psychologist in Monument, Colorado just beyond the Colorado Springs northern city limit. My doctorate is in Clinical Psychology. I specialize in working with adults who have experienced traumatic events and/or who have long-standing problems that cause distress.
With commitment, you can experience relief from symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder ("PTSD"), a lightening of grief, better relationships, and improved control of anger and anxiety. You can also lighten your depression and heal the wounds of trauma - including combat, the experience of or exposure to abuse, and other frightening events.

Services
While I cannot assure you of success, I can tell you that psychotherapy has benefitted many people who have undertaken it with sincerity and commitment. Our first few sessions will involve an evaluation of your needs, the setting of goals, and a treatment plan. We will both be evaluating whether or not we can work together well.
My regular fee is $100 per session. A session is typically 50-60 minutes long. I do not bill insurance companies, though I do work with people who will get reimbursed by their insurance companies. I have a limited number of appointments for military personnel, veterans, and first responders at a fee of $25 per session.
