Chilhowee Psychological Services (CPS) is part of a network of licensed mental health professionals that provides local and online assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and prescription services for the psychologically and emotionally disabled. We pride ourselves on maintaining the highest standards of clinical services, with an emphasis on customer satisfaction, facilitating healing and normal functionality for all of our clients.
The CPS assessment and ESA letter process is a simple 3-step process, designed and approved by our network of licensed therapists to help you quickly qualify. CPS clients have access to their ESA or PSD letters in 24 hours. Assessment & everything you need for housing, flying for free on airlines, and for your dog to accompany you everywhere you go.
An emotional support animal (ESA) is simply a pet that provide comfort and emotional support to a person with a diagnosed psychological disorder. Although these animals provide a therapeutic benefit to their owners, they are not required to go through any specific training. In almost all cases, a person's ESA is their pet.
Our ESA letter qualification process is quick, easy, and performed by licensed mental health professionals. We've developed a highly effective questionnaire that gathers only the most critical information necessary to make a disabled determination - and dispenses with unnecessary, time-consuming testing.
In the simplest terms, a psychiatric service dog or "PSD" is a service dog that is trained to help its handler with a mental, emotional, intellectual, or psychiatric-specific task. These dogs assist someone whose mental or emotional challenges makes it difficult or impossible for him/her to perform an important life task without help.

Such a quick and easy process for anyone in need of certification for the Emotional Support Animal. The doctor I worked with made the experience so easy and I appreciated it as it was the easiest step of my move-in process. If you need a doctor to sign off on your animal and don't already have a doctor, this is the best online service.

Everyone I dealt with at Chilhowee Psychologist was kind. The therapist I spoke with was very caring, concerned and understanding. They were fast at helping me get my primate as a registered service animal. She now goes everywhere with me and I've had no problems anywhere I take her. I would highly recommend them to everyone. They are very professional and caring!!

Their services allowed me to continue to love and embrace my dog and keep him with me wherever I went. We need these type of services especially when people judge our pets. Mine is a beautiful American Bulldog and he rarely barks and is very well behaved. He is my best friend because of the anxiety that I get, he always knows when I am having an anxiety attack and puts his head in my lap and honestly, I calm right down because I know that he is there for me. Chilhowee Psychological Services is extremely professional. The psychological questionnaire is very thorough and I can't speak more highly of my meetings with my assigned therapist. I have used them for 3 years and will continue to use them in the future. I have also purchased products for my ESA which I would say are very good quality. Excellent customer service, would highly recommend.
