Jackie Compton, CPA, CGMA formed Compton Accounting LLC in 2012 with the intention of creating an organization where client expectations are exceeded and work-life harmonization is realized for both Jackie and her team. In 2014, Jackie noticed that many of her clients viewed the relationship with their accountant as purely income tax focused.

I've worked at Balanced Equation for four years, and I've spent 23 years in the industry. Every once in awhile, someone will ask me why I'm in accounting. They wonder if it gets boring scrutinizing spreadsheets or adding up columns of numbers all day. While this job isn't for everyone, there's a major reason that I do what I do.

Jackie and her team at Balanced Equation has saved us from going crazy over our books. As soon as we hired Balanced Equation, Jackie straightened us out -- displaying all good cheer despite the rudimentary systems we had been using -- and she's kept us on an even keel ever since.
