Personal Physicians was founded by Dr. Ishver Desai in 1976, and he later added Dr. Ramnik Gokani. Both physicians have since retired. Dr. Shishir Jain joined Personal physicians in 1999. Th practice has since grown to include Dr. Manish Desai, Tamika Hobson PA-C and Vanessa Igelsias PA-C to better serve our community.
Personal Physicians provides long-term, comprehensive care to our patients and we are committed to preventing disease and injury and ensuring your health and wellness. We strive to provide the latest and largest range of health care services, and our physicians stay current on continuing medical education annually in order to offer patients the most up-todate and innovative care.

We do not offer on-site X-Rays but our affiliate hospitals can assist with this same day service. A P.A. is a Physician's Assistant. A P.A. is a licensed provider that provides like healthcare under the supervision of a licensed medical doctor or doctor of osteopathy. They must have at least a bachelor's degree and complete a PA training program that is accredited by the national commission of Physician Assistants.
