After years of unsatisfactory care at a dermatologist office right next to St Clair hospital, we have made the switch to Whalen Dermatology and were not disappointed. The staff was friendly and professional and Dr. Whalen was respectful and efficient. I would highly recommend this practice for your skin care needs.

Coming from Pittsburgh at lunchtime. Few minutes late! Person waiting when I came. So lady at counter says I have to make new appt.? What? Waited 6 months to get this one. So if have skin cancer? So going to post review. So appt. 12:30 and guess what closes at 1:00 on Fridays? So I highly doubt could get various issues done in 15 min. Wheni another person waiting ahead of me. Fuming? Maybe better somewhere else?

Doctor K was absolutely phenomenal! She did a very thorough skin exam and removed a few skin tags without making me schedule another appointment. She directed me to an online pharmacy that was able to save me 70% on my prescription over my UPMC health plan at traditional pharmacies. I have had a hard time finding a dermatologist that I wanted to trust my skin health with and I am pleased to have a new trusted health advocate at Whalen Dermatology.

The doctors here are great, and I've had good experiences with them being very kind and thorough. I can only give 3 stars though because the woman who answers the phone is incredibly rude, and I just had a horrible experience speaking with her. She was cold and short, didn't wait for me when I told her I needed a second before she gave me a phone number, and cut me off multiple times during the call, including when she hung up on me. I hate to give bad reviews, but in a time where a lot of communication is happening on the phone rather than in person, I except *at least* common decency, especially

I called yesterday as a new client, and got a next day virtual visit! The office staff was very helpful and pleasant. I "met' with Dr. Kreizenbeck. She was very friendly and thorough, taking time to answer all of my questions. The virtual visit was easy and informative, despite not being face to face! Thank you!
