Don is a Licensed Optician and has been in the optical industry for 30 years. He is experienced in every aspect of the optical industry and his here to see that all your child's eyewear needs are met. At Children's Optical, we treat even the smallest members of the family! From infancy to 18, we're here to help with treatment and ongoing wellness for your child's vision.
We know that your child needs a good selection of frames to chose from. That's what we have here. We carry the largest selection of children's and petite frames in the Kentuckiana area, with over 500 frames to chose from. We can also take care of your contact lens needs. We are here to help with the health of your glasses, Sun and Sport wear.
Our office is in-network with Davis, Spectera and soon to be Superior. We are an open-access provider with other vision plans. As an open-access provider, we are not in-network but we can provide you and your family with services/materials and still utilize your insurance benefits. We accept all Kentucky Medicaid which includes Traditional Medicaid as well as Managed care plans.

Don was very impersonal, did not introduce himself without me having to ask his name, was very unwelcoming and not hospitable at all. My family and I were referred to him for my son's vision care and we drove 45 minutes out of out way to this location, only to feel unwelcome, and experiencing a very disinterested interaction.

I can not recommend this business enough! I needed glasses for my 7 week old infant and they made me feel so calm and explained everything in such great detail. They worked to get me the best price on lenses and frames and were so attentive to my baby. Please consider giving them your business! You will not be disappointed!
