Newell-Hoerling's Mortuary has served the Lewis County community as a family owned funeral home since 1907. In 2012, the Hoerling family chose the Weeks family to carry on their tradition of service. For more than 50 years and two generations, the Weeks family has answered the call of friends and neighbors when a loved one passes away.

The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.

We cannot say enough good about Newell-Hoerling's Mortuary.
We had what we felt was a difficult situation and Rebecca did an outstanding job working with us and helping us to understand options and and ideas to fulfill our loved ones final wishes in the absence of pre-planning.
Excellent communication and guidance and we always felt we were dealing with the highest of ethics. Everyone was caring and companionate.
We give the entire Newell-Hoerling's Mortuary staff the highest of marks.

Losing a loved one is difficult and even harder when you feel so lost in what to do next. Newell-Hoerling's not only took us through each step of the process, they guided and made us feel secure all the way. They came to get our loved one as he passed at home and we were treated with the upmost respect The staff at Newell was helpful and knowledgeable with everything so we never lacked for anything. I highly recommend this service and you should ask for Lori Keilwitz because of how wonderful she was for us.
