This brought back great memories for me!!! Had one near.me in the late 70's I went there every day. For coffee and rolls. This one has delicious tasty items. Try it when you are in Solvang

So many delicious options! This place was so cute and there was a lot to choose from. We ended up getting danishes, and the cheese one was especially hood. Cute shop, lots of places to sit, and great service!

AMAZING quality and service ! And, they have the real-deal Princess Cookies.

I highly recommend this bakery -- despite the calories

This trip to Solvang, I decided to compare the bakeries that were open which were Olsen's, Danish Mill, and Solvang Bakery. Olsen's is the most popular, but also the priciest generally.

Napoleon Hats: $3 - these were good, and I liked these better than the ones at Olsen's Bakery more ($3.75). The ones taste more buttery and have the marzipan in the middle less chewy(?) or more integrated with the pastry somehow vs. Olsen's.

Butter Cookies: $9 - if you want a set of butter cookies, but not a tub, they have a smaller version that I enjoyed. It didn't have any of the really

I make sure to stop here every time I am in the area! Not only is it one of the more affordable bakeries in Solvang, but it has the best location for pictures.

They have a wide variety of pastries and breads to choose from, as well as other goodies. This time we tried a seasonal sugar cookie as well as a lemon danish. The sugar cookie was good, nothing amazingly special, but the danish was very surprising! I am not usually a big fan of danishes in general but I am of this one. The workers here are always friendly and we will be back soon for sure.

In a town where bakeries are a dime a dozen, Solvang Bakery really does know how to hold its own.

Most Solvang visitors are tourists from near and far, and come for the unique Danish experience. Where else in America can you find such a niche little village? And when in Rome... do as the Romans do! Consume the food!

Friendly service and a great variety of Danish sweets. The line went very fast. Ended up getting a Danish Waffle, cherry danish, bear claw and a large cram puff.

So cute! Great for gifts, cards, souvenirs. In addition to tasty treats - hard to choose. I vote for the cinnamon roll. Friendly staff!

This bakery is SO cute! The exterior and interior were so nice to look at. They have plenty of pastries to choose from and some are even nicely packaged which makes it a perfect place to get your Solvang souvenirs.

Aside from pastries, they also make custom bread gingerbread houses which are crafted with so beautifully and with so much detail! I wasn't sure what to get so the cashier recommended me a few items. For the pastries, I got their almond buttering and their princess waffle. The almond buttering is one of their most popular pastries. It contains almond paste and custard filling

Very cute place in town! Couldn't resist to stop in this adorable bakery!

Ordered a Gingerbread cookie & 2 jalapeño ham crossiants they were fantastic! The flavor was so incredible! Portion size was great and the soft flakey dough melts in your mouth!

I loved how you can purchase pre made gingerbread houses for the holidays too!

Another great find in the town of Solvang!

Visited here at Christmas time and the shop was decked out with ginger bread houses and Christmas decorations. They had a section in the back with cute decorations and trinkets for sale, including a bunch of cute birthday stuff like candles and tiaras. I didn't get any of the traditional danish pastries here, but I did get some chocolate chip cookies that are baked fresh daily by a friend of the shop and brought in to be sold. The cookies were so delicious- loaded with chocolate chips and topped with sea salt.

Ended up taking them home because of all the sweets we ate during our visit, popped

One of the most popular tourist spots in Solvang, this cute little bakery is great for a stop of sweet snacks as well as some souvenirs from the Danish town.

We got some gingerbread cookie baskets and some Danish pastries. All nice.

Maybe crowded on holidays so may need some patience before you can get your pastries!

they also sell a plethora of random items from mugs to candles to cards and notebooks. Super easy to find a souvenir for someone if not yourself :)

Walked up the street and stopped in here for a quick breakfast - great decision! The blueberry muffin was light (not dense like other muffins) and perfectly sweetened. The Danish apple strudel was likewise excellent.
They offer many different pastries, cookies, cakes, breads, and more. Check it out if you're in town!

The cutest little Bakery ever!!
The outside of this Bakery is PINK and has pink seating as well, only downfall is that the tables are metal and in the summer It gets HOT in Solvang so I was unable to seat on the pink tables.

They have Gluten-few everything!! gluten free cookies, pastries, cupcakes! Their cakes look divine ! And they have cute Knick-knacks to shop for. This little place just reminds me a cute little grandma bakery! Super adorable!

Haven't been here for a couple of years, glad to see they are still with us!

I come here for the breads mainly, which are fresh baked daily. They have several varieties, including today's offerings of jalapeno onion cheddar (thought I'd start with the least Danish one! ), cheddar cheese, cinnamon bread monkey style, iced cinnamon bread and cardamom bread.

Today they had a special, "buy 3 get one free" but it was too much for me as I am here all week, and wouldn't eat them right away. I did buy two to send off, however. They also had some "day old" offerings

I was impressed as we made our way through Solvang - people driving Danish cars, the architecture, the energy throughout the streets... unfortunately I was slightly underwhelmed about its bakery though.

The service was prompt, not exactly what I would consider friendly but the gal did her job well and got me through a a pretty decent line quickly.

I ordered the Oat cookie dipped in chocolate (unfortunately never caught it's actual name), a cheese danish, and 2 iced lattes to go.

Definitely a must stop to get the true Solvang experience! Bakery is fresh and they have everything you could ever want. Lots of trinkets and gifts to buy as well.

Get a danish with cheese, you cannot go wrong there!
