Oh my gosh! This was the best strawberry cheesecake ever! I am not a big fan of heavy cheesecakes and this was light and fluffy with just the right amount of sweetness. The owner even stayed a few minutes after closing because so almost forgot to pick up my cake. I highly recommend this place for their cheesecake.

I ordered a cake for my son's 8th birthday in Heaven. I went in a week beforehand and talked with the male owner and showed him pictures and described what I wanted. He assured me it would be no problem and asked me to email the pictures I showed him and any others I found. I emailed him the pictures I showed him that day, plus 4 or 5 more. I never heard back, so 2 days before I was going to pick up the cake I called to check what time I could get it. ( Just to make sure things were on track since I never heard anything.) He said everything was great and I could pick it up between 11 and closing

In the middle of a pandemic and the holidays, we decided to move. I am always responsible for dessert for family gatherings because I love to bake! In the chaos of everything I just didn’t have time, so I figured I should order some holiday pies. Online ordering was so easy. Pick up was quick and easy and the pies were SO STINKING GOOD!!! I found my new go to when I need them ❤️

This must be the only bakery in town since there are 5 star reviews for it. The staff is extremely rude, they are often "sold out" of special orders (how do you do that--it's a special order for a different day), and the snickerdoodle cake we got was dry and didn't taste anything like a snickerdoodle. It tasted like they took their base cake for carrot cake and just didn't do any of the add-ins. I tried and tried to taste cinnamon, but it just wasn't there. The buttercream frosting is sweet, but the cream cheese filling was just blah. Combine that with the rude service

Im surprised this place has almost 5 stars. I tried to order a cake and instead it felt like I was at the courthouse paying for a speeding ticket. I spoke to Danielle and man is she rude. I wanted to get a custom cake made and she said I could send a pic to her email and speaking really fast without even giving me a chance to get a pen she proceeds to give it to me. I ask for a sec so I can get a pen and have to have her repeat it like 5 times cuz each time she gives the email just as fast. Eventually she slowed down and I got it and you could tell she was irritated but damn try speaking a little

Orcutt Bakery is a hidden gem in Orcutt across from Orcutt Burger. Unfortunately I went too late in the day to get all of the delicious treats but I did manage to snag a raspberry chocolate cupcake, red velvet, chocolate chip cookie, and Brookfield (brownie/cookie combo). All were very tasty and moist, clear that they were baked fresh. Will definitely return earlier in the day to get some of their other treats!

I have never had a problem at this bakery before but this time when I went in and bought the cheesecake on display they were nice enough to put strawberries on it but when I had my husband's birthday party I started cutting it and was wondering why half of the cheesecake was falling apart one of my family members which bakes cheesecakes told me it was not cooked all the way so I called the guy said they used a different cream cheese on the one I had purchased and that this has never happened to them before they did exchange it had no problem with the second one they also gave me a full refund.
