Americrete is a company of humble beginnings. Built on product ease and eco-friendly systems, Americrete was founded by contractors looking to build a brand that applicators loved. When Life Paint Corp. acquired Americrete, LLC in 2009, Americrete kept the family owned and operated feel but better positioned the company for growth.
The most important part of the coating application is surface preparation. Surface preparation is vital to ensure proper adhesion to the substrate. Americrete offers a wide variety of concrete products from degreasers to calcium etching products. If you have questions regarding how to prep a particular system, please contact Americrete.
Americrete cement primers include bonding agents, concrete polymer concentrates, waterproofing bonders, and efflorescence blockers. All Americrete concrete preparation products are either used for waterproofing systems, or epoxy coatings. A-300 Cement Modifier Bonder is a proprietary bonding agent and admixture.
A-100: The Americrete degreaser will remove deeply penetrated oil stains and contaminated surface residue. Agitate material with 175 rpm floor machine with a brush attachment or black maintenance pad. The use of a power scrubber for larger applications is desirable. For interior projects, the use of a stiff bristle brush will suffice.
Americrete offers a wide variety of resurfacing cements that are water added, dry-polymer products. Americrete cements are typically all water added with dry polymers already in the cements. You can also add A-300 for extra strength or A-8100 for more flexibility and waterproofing. Americrete Concrete Resurfacing Systems use dry-polymer cements to create custom, decorative finishes.
