Dr. Montgomery devotes a lot of his time to furthering the excellence of veterinary medicine. Not only in his clinic does he strive for the best care, but he works in the local community, the state, and national levels with the GVMA, and AVMA. Together, with these organizations, he strives to set the standard of veterinary care for your pets and help influence policy and laws that help improve the veterinary-client-patient relationship.
Puppies and kittens both need to come in over the span of a few months for a series of boosters. Starting at 6 weeks, they'll get their first vaccine, known as DHPP (Distemper, Adenovirus, Parainfluenze, and Parvovirus) for puppies or FVRCP (Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia, and Chlamydia) for kittens.
Using Heartworm preventatives such as Trifexis, Heartgard, or Iverhart is not only a more affordable solution to heartworm disease, but is the healthiest way to protect your pet. The average cost of prevention a year is $40-50 every 6 months. Treatment cost ranges between $900-1200, and infection with heartworms can lead to significant harm to your pet's heart, lungs, and other organs.

Our last visit was great. My fur baby never likes anyone to touch his paws and I was worried that I'll never get his nails clipped. Dr. Klosterman and the vet techs were so helpful in getting the job done. Even though my poor fur baby didn't like it, they worked quickly and efficient.I will be visiting again for my pet's needs from now on.

The people that work there was super nice and very sincere to why I was there for the visit. I had to put my dog Sasha of 12 years down. I was a complete mess and they was very understanding of my heartbreak. They gave me as much time as I needed with her before and after. I want to thank all of them that was there that day for their kindness and understanding.

I have three fur babies...The doctors and staff are caring and compassionate. They are there to help my pets and actually spend the time explaining everything to you so you may make an informed decision in regards to your pets well being. They do not over charge and understand that people love there animals and want to care of them.
