He received his master's degree in physical therapy from Old Dominion University and after several years of successful practice, he earned a post-professional Doctor of Physical Therapy from VCU/MCV.He is a member of APTA, Orthopedic Section and VAPTA. Gavin provides highly effective care for each patient stemming from his lifelong passion for the science and art of human movement.

Over the past three years, I've been a patient of Dr. McCall's for three separate issues: post surgery right knee meniscus repair, post surgery right shoulder rotator cuff repair (note to self: tennis is hard on the body), and most recently left "frozen shoulder". With each recovery, Dr. McCall and his team brought me back to full use of the affected area. His approach is hands-on, personal, and caring. Another plus for me was the convenient location ... Bayview Physical Therapy is less than 5 miles from my home which is important for a place you'll spend many weeks multiple times a week visiting
