Generally speaking, a person should have two check-up visits with their dentist per year. However, if you have a dental disease or another ongoing dental condition, then you may be required to see your dentist more regularly. It may be tempting to skip out on your dental visits if you aren't experiencing any signs or symptoms that are concerning.
A dental crown is a type of dental restoration that can help fix cracked, chipped, uneven, weak, or discolored teeth. Crowns are also used on anchor teeth to support a dental bridge. A false tooth, or pontic, is attached to the crowned teeth, filling a gap left by a missing tooth. Crowns are a great way to ensure healthy, strong, cosmetically-pleasing teeth.
If you are unsatisfied with your smile due to missing teeth, or experience discomfort when speaking or eating, dentures may be a great option for you. They are essentially a set of removable false teeth created by your dentist for the purpose of filling uncomfortable gaps. Dentures are made from nylon, metal, or acrylic materials and are fitted to the exact proportions of a patient's mouth, making each set unique.
When you have missing teeth, dental implants may be an option you'd like to explore. While dentures and dental bridges are always available, these dental appliances are not permanent and will have to get restored over time. Dental implants, on the other hand, are lifelong solutions to missing teeth.

I went to Pulver a few weeks ago for the first time because I recently moved to the area and they had good reviews. I was told I had 8 cavities that needed to be filled after having never had a cavity in my life. Luckily, I decided to get a 2nd opinion and that dentist (who was my previous trusted dentist but a long drive away) said I had one cavity and no sign of any others. I'm very glad I listened to my gut and didn't just trust Pulver. Additionally, I made the original appointment with Pulver for a cleaning and when I got there, they said the first appointment is a consultation and I'd have

Great family owned practice. My husband, kids, and I have had such a great experience here. Recently, they fixed up my front teeth to look white again. They were stained and I needed front fillings. Now my teeth look brand new. I have had two crowns put in as well. They always ask how I am doing and if I'm in pain. They are such a family oriented practice and want to help you in the least painful experience as possible.

I do not like going to dentists ever but I ended up having bad mouth pain and called Pulver's office to have them take a look at my teeth. They were very nice and professional. Any questions I had, they were able to answer. After options were discussed, I chose to go with the root canal option. Mouth is still a little numb since was done today but I'm looking forward to not having the pain that was being caused by the tooth. Will definitely be going back to them.
