Services
Your initial appointment will consist of a consultation explaining your diagnosis and treatment options. Occasionally, surgery can be performed the same day as the consultation. All patients under the age of 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at the consultation visit.
Please alert the office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to surgery (i.e., diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are currently taking any medication (i.e., heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.).Our goal is to provide the optimal indicated treatment for your particular needs based on your individual requirements.

Clothing Please wear a short-sleeved blouse or shirt on the day of surgery. Do not wear contact lenses. Ladies should wear flat heeled shoes. Please do not wear your hair in a pony tail. In order for our heart monitor to work properly, please do not wear nail polish or acrylic nails.
Food Intake You may have a light meal the night before surgery, but are not to have anything to eat or drink after midnight the day preceding your surgery appointment.Transportation Please bring someone with you to remain In the office and drive you home following surgery. We can remove them if they don't come out by themselves. Many people worry about the removal of stitches(dissolvable or not) but it is an entirely painless process and you should not need any numbing for it. My son had his wisdom teeth out on Thursday January 13th 2022 and the whole process was amazing we were only there for about an hour and his were not simple, but the doctors and the staff and everyone that we dealt with was absolutely amazing and my son has done so well with his recovery compared to his sister. I would recommend Summit oral surgery to anyone that asked me, they were absolutely amazing.

The whole office was SUPER nice. The Dr. was really friendly, spoke clearly and did everything he said he would. I have often thought that the dental industry doesn’t seem very concerned with patients because they know their services are required. This group was 100% different. They genuinely cared about how they treated people AND did a fantastic job. I would recommend them to anyone.

Friendly and fun staff, made me feel comfortable being there and like I had been there many times.. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the direct responses to my questions. Was nervous to have a tooth and cyst extraction but they handled it quickly and with ease. I hope to not have to have to go back but if ever I or anyone I knew did, I would recommend Dr. Egbert.

Great service. Dr. Egbert and his staff are wonderful, both kind and competent. Make quick work of what I was thinking would be a difficult extraction. They were quick to get me in for an urgent appointment. I did not dread my visits to this professional office. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a professional oral and maxillofacial surgeon or just needs their wisdom teeth out.

I was so impressed by each of the staff. They were so kind and good to answer any questions I had. The doctor was so good and was so nice to call and check on my daughter just a couple days after getting her wisdom teeth pulled. They told us when she had the procedure done that we could call anytime with any questions or concerns we had and that if they were out of the office I could call the doctor. I recommend going to Summit Oral & Maxillofacial 110%

I had a tooth removed today which could have been a miserable experience, but the professionalism and skill of Dr. Egbert and his staff were exceptional. Everyone was pleasant and able to answer every question I asked. They even provided me with a blanket when I was cold.
Dr. Egbert made sure I was completely numb before proceeding to remove the tooth and completed the task in a few minutes.
I can highly recommend Summit without any hesitation.
