Shmucher Law, PL provides affordable representation for clients wishing to obtain a financial fresh start. The bankruptcy attorney at Shmucher Law, PL has assisted hundreds of individuals and corporations with debt issues foreclosures, wage garnishments, bank account garnishments, repossessions, creditor harassment, and loan modifications.
Bankruptcy provides a debtor certain protections during his or her elimination process, however, there are two types of bankruptcy that a debtor can choose to file each having their own benefits and detriments. There is no one right answer to determine whether Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 is better because the decision to file different chapters of bankruptcy is made on a case by case basis.
At Shmucher Law, PL we have assisted hundreds of individuals file for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection in Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach Counties. Chapter 7 can also be called a liquidation bankruptcy and it is probably the most common bankruptcy, and the bankruptcy most people want to be in because of the speed it can eliminate debts.
Debt defense is the process whereby Shmucher Law, PL defends a debtor who has been sued by a credit card company or a junk debt buyer. When a debtor is sued by a debt collection company or a credit card company they will be served with the lawsuit at their house. Served means that a process server will come to your house and drop off the lawsuit with either you, a spouse or someone that lives in that residence.
When an individual surrenders their vehicle either voluntarily or has it repossessed, the creditor/lender has certain actions they must undergo upon taking possession of the vehicle. Typically the lender will send you a notice explaining to you the amount you owe and how and when you can pay this amount to and by what day it's due.

Attorney Shmucher is very professional and knowledgeable. From day one he gave me confidence when I realized he knew exactly what I was going through. I got a letter from court saying I had a hearing for a collection agency trying to collect an account. The date for this hearing was only a week away, not sure what happened with this letter and why I was only being given a week to prepare. I can not recommend Ofer Shmucher enough. We were in a situation where we really needed to file bankruptcy, and we had a complicated case. Ofer was able to ease our concerns and guide us through the bankruptcy without any hitches. He kept us informed throughout the whole process from start to finish and really genuinely cared about us, not only as clients, but as people. This is unequivocally the best attorney in S.Florida. Regardless of your legal matter don't make the mistake of not calling him first.
He came highly recommended and exceeded those expectations, which I didn't think was possible.
I have spent thousands with lazy, incompetent, greedy attorneys down here esp. Broward and wish that I had met Ofer before.
He called me once I gave him my paperwork (the next day literally) and he went over all my options. He then followed up again a few days later. Unheard of!
