Our policy is open enrollment at all times, meaning we don't do sessions and you do not need to re-enroll for Fall, Spring. Once you are enrolled in a class you will be rolled over every month to the same class unless you let us know before the end of the month that you are changing classes or dropping.

Our requirements for masks, per Douglas County Health Department, is parents discretion for children ages 2-12 to wear a mask and 13 and up that are not vaccinated are required to wear them also.

In 1994 Lawrence Gymnastics & Academy was founded by David Sakumura and began "Building Better Kids" in ~3,000 sq/ft of space at 25th & Iowa St. In 2000, LGA moved to our current 10,000+ sq/ft building at 4930 Legends Drive. LGA is the only fully equipped State-of-the-Art Men's & Woman's Artistic Gymnastics facility in Douglas County.
Our mission is to provide a fun, safe place where children can enjoy physical activity and prepare them for a healthy, active life. We believe that POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT is the best way to motivate and develop self confidence in children. Lawrence Gymnastics & Athletics kids develop abilities and talents, and young athletes pursue their dreams and goals.
Leave your decorations, refreshments and supplies at the front desk upon arrival and enjoy yourself as we set-up, host, and clean-up at the end. We will lead the birthday song, cut and serve cake, and record a gift list for you. We offer a refrigerator/freezer for your use in the party room. A $50 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of your reservation, with the remaining balance due at the end of the party.
Open Gyms are supervised play time for toddlers through grown-ups. See the schedule below to find out which times are best for you. PLEASE NOTE: Reservations are not requied for Open Gyms unless someone other than parent or guardian will be bringing them. Parents/Caregivers: Children under 5 years of age must have an adult on the gym floor with them.
LGA is the perfect location for church and youth groups to host exciting fun gatherings and parties. We can accommodate groups of 20 or more children for games, obstacle courses, play time in the gym or movies in the gym. LGA can fully staff the occasion or you can provide adult assistant supervisors.

Booked birthday party two months in advance and was double booked over our time slot when we was suppose to have it privately that was not the case. Was suppose to have an hour of gym time and only recieved 30 minutes and felt rushed on top of it. Was not charged full price but still had to pay the deposit two months before the party.

Our daughter has learned countless techniques along with a tad bit of discipline in less than 3 years. The staff at LGA is always very nice and welcoming. There are also many perks to the membership as well such as discounted open gym outside of the classes and "date night" kid watching/dinner nights during the summer time for relatively cheap. Birthday parties can be booked on the weekends for a really reasonable rate which includes one hour gym time with inflatables and the party room for cake, ice cream and presents (food not included in price).
