Whatever your craving, we can help you plan your party food, select the right caterer, and ensure a presentation that works with your theme. We can help you decide what will be best for your special day, work with your caterer, or identify other providers in a number of price ranges to deliver to your specifications.
From hip hygge to cozy vintage, from polka dots to candles and lace, we can help you choose and implement the style and that speaks to you and your event. It's all in the details and we will you help you dance with that devil by providing ideas, helping with concept development, and then implementing directly or through other providers.
Your guests will be with you for 2-4-6 hours, two days, or maybe even a week-long corporate event or family reunion. You've laid the groundwork to ensure that good conversation and good times will flow. But will you want more? Depending on your overall theme we can help you decide and plan your entertainment agenda and program.
We can coordinate and secure your paper and related products: invitations, favors, programs, agendas, creative name tags, seating charts, menus, etc., including take-home favors - after all, why not let everyone take a bit of the party with them when they leave. We support local partners who share our outlook, dedication to detail, and commitment to our hosts.
We start with your creative concepts. But we recognize the importance of, and certainly don't shy away from, the nitty-gritty of project management to make it happen. We will write it down, keep track, manage to a timeline, and ensure all the elements of your event move forward.

Kathryn was very responsive and helpful in sharing ideas to create a memorable fall backyard party. She is creative! Her recommendations regarding set-up, guest welcome items, theme colors, decorations, table centerpiece ideas are all being implemented at the party. I had a special request for Kathryn to make two giant gift baskets, and she did a marvelous job! Wine bottles, home made cookies, chocolates, teas and others treats were arranged so tantalizingly beneath the pretty bows! Everyone stared in awe as I walked in carrying these baskets on my shoulders, just in time for the holidays. Thank you Kathryn for helping me to create an awesome impression! They loved them!

I contacted Kathryn about a customized cookie for my son's special birthday. I was amazed when I received the cookies. They were beautiful and incredibly detailed. My son turned 17 and his gift was a trip to Disney World. Kathryn made Mickey Mouse heads with adorable Mickey hands (mini cookies). Everyone loved them! They were almost too pretty to eat. But we did, and they were delicious! Thanks Kathryn!

I saw her cookies featured at one of the homes on the Ridgewood Historic Homes Tour. I contacted her last minute to see if she could provide cookies for a holiday party. Kathryn personally delivered a beautiful tray of ginger cookies that tasted as good as they looked. She was so great to work with and Parties Unplugged has permanent place in my "rolodex"!

When I contacted Kathryn from Tokyo with a crazy idea for a 75th Birthday Party for my Dad, I had a big dream but little time or energy to devote to making it come together. I wanted to bring a slice of Tokyo's karaoke scene to New Jersey, and there was less than 3 weeks to make it happen.
