Denise is also a thirty-eight year old self-taught professional Baker turned Wedding/Event planner who has been in business for the last 10 years. The Jamaican born native has always had a creative mind but fell in love with baking and cake decorating after attempting to make her sons first birthday cake.

From my first phone call with Denise Grant I knew she was the event planner for us. My grandmother’s 80th birthday was in less than 8 weeks, she had just survived almost two months in the ICU and we were determined to have an EPIC 80th birthday party for her. Denise is always prompt, extremely responsive and walks you through the entire process from top to bottom. She walked through several venues with us, texted me back no matter what time, she indulged in all my extraness & executed every vision I had for this night. Hactac Events by far surpassed our expectations with both the decor and day of coordination of our Covid compromised wedding. Denise and I are long time friends but our interaction for the wedding was strictly professional. Her attention to detail, suggestions and final execution were flawless and left our guests raving about the beauty of our venue and event in general. Denise is awesome! She came highly recommended from a friend of mine and she didn’t disappoint. She was extremely flexible when Mother Nature didn’t want to cooperate for my son’s 1st birthday party in the park. She offered herself up for Memorial Day to come and setup at a different location. I love someone who can pivot at the last minute and still execute on point. She was timely in arrival and breakdown…and everyone loved the decor and her cupcakes! I’ve never used an event planner before, but will definitely use Denise again if/when the opportunity permits!

Denise Grant is a dream maker!!! From our first meeting she was thoughtful and knowledgeable- it’s hard for a control freak like me to let go -but she made my party HANDS FREE- cake- she’s got it. Decor-she’s got it Flowers- she’s got it! all I had left to do was ENJOY the beautiful garden wonderland she set up for me and my nearest and dearest. Hactac events made everything easy!!! I’m spoiled for life!!! If you’re having an event, do yourself the favor and make it a 2 step process.

Denise was no short of amazing! She planned a surprise dinner for my mom in under one week! All I had to do was pick two colors and she transformed our space into beautiful elegant area. I’ve already gotten so many messages from people asking who decorated because it was breathtaking. Not only did she plan it in less than a week but there was no stress on my end, I was almost shocked how little information she needed from me but I’m glad I trusted her vision. Thank you again Denise, cannot wait to work with you again in the future!

The whole process was very smooth! I think I reached out to Denise with less than 3 weeks to plan my event. I actually didn’t have much of a plan besides knowing that I wanted a boozy backyard brunch. Denise came up with the theme and the design and was able to stick within my budget. I also liked the fact that she was basically a one stop shop for me because she made the cake as well which was beautiful and delicious. I have some disaster stories from working with other event planners in the past but none here. The day of the event Denise and her team made great use of the space available, set

Denise brought my Havana nights vision to life even better than imagined. My guests were floored by the decor and ambiance that she created. She even added a special touch of party favors for my guests which I absolutely loved. It was really great working with her and was a seamless experience. My advice to anyone is book, book, book for your next event. You will not be disappointed!

I cannot recommend Denise enough!!! I hired her to build a hexagon archway for my minimony and it was beyond what I had envision. My groom is allergic to flowers but I still wanted some greenery. She was able to provide faux flowers and real flowers to create the look that I was going for. Denise was extremely professional and punctual. I have recommended her to friends and family and will continue to use her services.
