I cannot thank Dr. Krajnyk and the entire staff at PEI enough for taking such great care of me! I recently had cataract surgery and my quality of life has been restored. The hardest part has been to remember that I even had the surgery! Thank you Dr. K! I recently had LASIK surgery performed by Dr. Krajnyk and I can't believe how much my quality of life has improved!

Dr. Krajnyk and his staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. You are not just a number. My wife and I just had cataract surgery. We are extremely pleased with the results. The Doctor explains everything thoroughly to you and is there every step of the way. He even gives a personal follow up call the day of surgery. Dr. Krajnyk is extremely good at doing what is right for the patient. Thanks for taking care of us.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Krajnyk for over five years. He is an excellent ophthalmologist with a top-notch education who is friendly and cares for his patients. I scheduled my usually visit with him a few weeks back for my yearly eye exam and went in today expecting to meet with my eye doctor.
However, I was placed with an optometrist whom I’ve never met and who didn’t even bother to introduce himself. To add to my experience, the technician (in training) performed the majority of my exam. I will add that the technicians were very nice but they entered my eye prescription incorrectly, so

Let me start by saying that Dr. Krajnyk is my favorite doctor/surgeon by far! He takes the time to speak with me and explains everything very clearly so that I understand. I don't ever feel like he is trying to rush me out to get to his next patient. He is very caring and professional as well as all of the surgical staff!! I have been wearing glasses/contacts full time for the past 5 years. I had cataract surgery and got the upgraded multi-focal lenses. I couldn't possibly be happier with the results! It's been 1 week since the surgery on my second eye and I see as good, if not better, than I did

Back in Nov, I had my eye appointment, picked out my glasses and ordered them & then I waited. The prescription was wrong, it happens. I got a recheck on Nov 11th. It has been 55 days.....yes you read that right.... I AM STILL WAITING FOR MY GLASSES! 55 days after my recheck. This place is nothing but excuse after excuse. When you pay for something, you expect to get it, when you pay $500+ for something, you expect to get it quickly! 2 month is absolutely obseen! The staff at Precision Eye Institute is second to none. They handled everything professionally and took the time to walk me through the process. Making me feel comfortable and confident in the procedure. I got my LASIK done at the Edgewater location. The lasers are the best in the industry. Without the help of Jason and Dr K there is no way of would of done it. Months later I can not express enough how amazing it feels to not have contacts. I went from 20/400 to 20/15. There should be no hesitation when considering using Precision Eye Institute.

I need cataract surgery and he was recommended so I made an appointment and went for the preliminary exam (new patient). Everything was good until the surgery coordinator called to schedule the pre-op and surgical visits. I was then informed that the facility was not yet credentialed by Medicare and that I would have to pay an additional $600 facility fee that was normally paid by insurance. I didn't feel that this was right, so I didn't schedule the surgery.

I have been going to precision eye for many years since Dr. Kraniak took over the practice. Since they opened their new office in New Smyrna Beach they have gone down hill. They never call back when they say they will and never respond to voice messages. I had cataract surgery and not sure if it fixed anything since I have worse eyes then before. I get examined for contact lenses multiple times and lately they are the wrong prescription. They are way off by a long shot. I had to go to a different eye doctor to get fitted properly. Now I am trying to get them to take back my incorrect prescriptions

Dr. Krajnyk is the best surgeon bar none! I had coke bottle glasses and couldn’t see far or near and after my cataract surgery now I don’t need glasses to drive or read! Plus with his in office surgery suite it was painless and recovering in a massage chair was a great stress relief. I wouldn’t go anywhere else! 10 stars!

I am 61yrs old and recently had cataract surgery, with a multifocal lens implant, at the new surgical center of Precision Eye Institute in Edgewater. Dr Krajnyk & his staff were outstanding, the whole process was so smooth and easy and my results are absolutely amazing! My vision the very next day was excellent, even having had RK surgery on the same eye 26 yrs ago. Tomorrow will be one week and I am ecstatic with my results! I highly recommend Dr. Krajnyk to anyone needing eye surgery or eye care.

Optical staff mislead, lie, and are generally incompetent (FF's for people with USN background). Failed to call when glasses ready; they said they would. Transferred glasses between offices without informing me. MD is good, support staff a waste of O2. Staff only returned phone messages 20% of the time.
