I decided to start my own company at the age of 20. My passion for the craft of remodeling has since evolved. Now I also enjoy designing space for clients to live in. Being able to create a floor plan and then render a 3D model of a customer's project has helped me think of all aspects of a their needs and goals.
While I still really enjoy getting to the job sites and putting my carpentry skills to work, I spend more of my time now focusing on our customer's experience when they work with Yates Remodeling and how I can ensure that when they see the final space it is more than they hoped for and that the journey of their remodel was positive.

Yates Remodeling specializes in residential remodeling including kitchens, bathrooms, great rooms, attics, outdoor living, and so much more. A design-build remodeler both designs the living spaces you, the client, have been dreaming of and ensures that it is built to fulfill that vision. Using a 3D CAD software, we will create floor plans and 3D renderings based on your desired outcome and goals.
If you've never remodeled before, it may be hard to know how much it might cost. Below, we have shared the cost ranges of our clients' projects. We hope this will help you get a sense of the range for each type of project. Of course, every project is unique. Therefore, your estimate will vary.
Factors that affect costing include changes or addition of: square footage, plumbing, electrical, the age of your home, the craftmanship or state of the current build, and the finishes and trims you select (appliances, windows, flooring, etc.) We have found that when our clients sign an estimate and stick to their plan as described in the estimate, that they are often within 10% of the original estimated cost.

We had a fantastic experience with this GC. Yates had a reasonable quote, but what really made them stand out was their creative vision for our space and professionalism. We were very happy we went with them, as the quality of the work finishing our attic was excellent. They communicated throughout, were very transparent with progress, and came in on time and in budget with their work. We would definitely use again.

Cameron and his team are amazing at what they do. First, Cameron comes in and does a detailed walkthrough with you of what you want to do. Next, he sends you a visual layout of what you talked about and a very fairly priced estimate and timeline. Next, his team of highly skilled experts come in and get the job done - it's that simple.
I had an extra door added to my back porch and steps going down it to give me an exit/entrance on both sides of my porch. Everything looks amazing. The stairs are perfect and the new frame for the door looks like it was built with the house. I'm already going to

We first met Cameron in 2010 when he redid our bathroom floors. Initially we were going to use another guy but when he never showed on the first day of work I considered that a bad omen and asked a close friend for her recommendations. She suggested Cameron. I was so glad she did because he was 100% professional. He showed up for work on-time, prepped the project so it didn't look like a war zone and charged a fair rate. I couldn't ask for more.

Yates Contracting did the remodeling of our Master Bathroom. It consisted of all new tile, bathtub, shower, vanity cabinet, countertop and sinks, and mirrors. Their attention to detail and quality of work was excellent. We were very pleased with the way they kept the work area cleaned up each day and protected the rest of the house from dust and dirt.
A year later we had them update two other bathrooms with new tile, vanity cabinets, countertops and sinks and mirrors. We were also very pleased with their work on that project.
We will go to Yates Contracting for future remodeling projects.

The Yates crew did a great job on our remodel. The project came in a little longer in the schedule and a bit above budget than we originally expected, but we did have some "older home surprises" that needed to be addressed -and we requested some changes along the way. At the end we got a really nice looking space we can use for entertaining. I would definitely recommend.
