President Steven J. Miller, along with his wife Helen C. Miller V.P., are co-founders and owners of Guardian Angel Caregivers LLC. In high school, Steve participated in fund-raising for Parkinson's Disease.
After being given an honorable discharge from the United States Army, Steve was in the social work program at Portland State University and worked with Metro Crisis Intervention, NCJW Teen Insight Program, and Fairview Training Center for mental patients.He graduated with a B.A. degree in Human Resources Management from George Fox College in April of 1988.

A short but innovative program designed to help the client transition from a hospital or care facility to the safety of their own home, along with a second visit to make sure that the client can make it to their initial follow-up appointment with a physician. As part of this program, the client will receive two four-hour visits, which may even begin prior to discharge.
Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia can create unique challenges for your loved and their support system. The decline in memory and other mental abilities can lead to both exhaustion and frustration on the part of the individual who gets diagnosed and for the loved ones who try to take care of them.
The difference between In-Home Companion Care and Personal Care lies in how much the client may be able to do on their own. If you or your loved one are relatively independent, then In-Home Companion Care, which offers a helping hand around the house, may be the right fit for you. If not, Personal Care might be best suited to fit your needs.
Hospice care is intended to give care the whole person who is approaching the end of life, including attending to: physical needs, emotional needs, and spiritual needs. Usually this kind of care begins when life expectancy is six months or less, and the emphasis of medical treatment changes from cure to comfort.
