Jung Truck Service began in 1977 when Donald and Phyllis Jung bought a two-truck LTL carrier by the name of Laquet Freight Service (originated in the 1940s). Since starting as a local LTL carrier, our customers expressed the need for our personal family-oriented service in the intermodal and truckload markets as well.
Since our incorporation in 1977, our company has responded to the needs of our customers by providing both domestic and international intermodal drayage services in Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Indiana and Kentucky. Our equipment fleet has expanded to include standard container chassis, as well as tri-axle chassis and lightweight tractors to legally scale the heaviest container payloads.
Jung Truck Service operates van trailers and flatbeds within a 300-mile radius of St. Louis, MO. Some of the industries we serve are consumer goods, food, industrial and metals. We employ safe and reliable company drivers who have a vested interest in delivering goods on time every time. Safety and on-time delivery are our top priorities at Jung.
Our fleet consists of late model tractors and trailers. This combined with regular maintenance performed by our full-time mechanics ensures each load is delivered safely and on-time. Jung has a variety of trailers to move dry bulk goods. These trailers include end dump (frame and frameless) and hopper bottom.
