Our story begins in San Diego, California in 2015. What started as a farmers market booth at the Hillcrest Farmers Market has grown into a global phenomenon. Vogue wrote us in our first year, asking for ad money of course but in the process hailed us as "California's Latest Luxury Line". We are a small company that carefully focuses on every detail of how we operate.
We design everything in house, and handle almost every aspect of our business with authenticity, creativity, and heart. We source our product inspiration from our home state of California. Absolutely incredible company! I bought a few pairs for my wife and I and one of hers didn't sit well on her face (no fault to the glasses) and we contacted customer support to ask if we can switch them. The owner answered and hooked us up with an exchange, as well as a promo code for a discount on the new pair so we actually saved about $30 and she loved them. The customer support is spot on. Even at night when we called, there wasn't a wait and there was a person on the other side! Would definitely recommend!! Also the glasses have these incredible details that are next to none. I purchased 🕶 from this company. They looked fantastic!! I was super happy until it got really hot in the PNW. The diferent woods separated from each other which made the glasses very structurally weak,and they ended up cracking. Then I reached out realizing I bought a warranty, but that warranty still requires me to pay 25% of the price. Very disappointing
Update. The company reached out and because of they say my glasses broke they sent me a new pair. Nina is fantastic!!

Quick update. Nina did reach out to me and my son three weeks ago, and we thought everything was going to work out. However, she has not yet followed up with the promised replacement sunglasses.

Just bought a 3rd pair and Nina from Cali Life reached out to thank me for being a loyal customer. That type of service never happens! I really wanted to love this company. I know it is tough times during COVID but I've bought multiple pairs and have had either terrible luck with them or their products just don't last.

The first glasses I bought the lenses became quickly destroyed which was probably my fault so I won't blame them here. I used harsh cleaners but in my defense I've had similar glasses without having this problem. Then one lens fell out constantly so I just gave up on them entirely.

I placed an order for a pair of sunglasses, and then changed my mind and wanted a different pair. I contacted customer service hoping that they would be able to cancel my order so that I could order the other pair. Nina responded within minutes and was able to make the change for me. Not only was she professional, she really went out of her way to make sure I was happy with my order. The sunglasses are beautiful, lightweight, comfortable and good quality. Highly recommend!!!

I bought my first and second pairs of Cali Life sunglasses while on vacation in San Diego in 2019. Saw they had an additional pair I wanted and purchased on-line (live in Chicago) and the customer service was outstanding!! There was a slight delay in shipping due to COVID and the assistance I received from Nina was beyond personal. She stayed in touch throughout and my new sunglasses were delivered over the weekend and are wonderful. This is a great company, customer oriented and well worth purchasing from!

When I first saw the sunglasses, I knew I had to have them. They're truly stylish, and are of great quality. You could tell they were built to last. I couldn't be happier with my sunglasses. I initially had purchased one pair of these glasses as the rustic wood design paired with the classic Ray Ban look appealed to me. I was very impressed with the quality of the lens as well, which lead me to purchase another pair.

Cali Life offers really unique sunglasses and accessories. I've received many compliments on my Carpinteria shades. You may come across somewhat similar wooden sunglasses out there but Cali Life has much higher quality offerings with truly hard to find details. I'm a big fan! They are great as gifts, as well.
