What started as a hobby quickly turned into a passion. In 2017 Dan started High Expectations as a mobile detailing company. Since then Dan has crossed the Island from Montauk to Brooklyn detailing and coating clients cars, boats, bikes, kitchens, bathrooms and BBQs. In 2019 Dan opened the first fixed location on Montauk Highway in Lindenhurst.

Being the owner of a black car (2016 Mercedes C300 4matic) is an everyday struggle. Swirl marks, scratches, and scrapes are inevitable no matter how well you take care of your cars paint. This past weekend I had Dan do a 2 stage paint correction, ceramic coating, and 30 percent factory tints. Dan explained to me what to expect as far as results, what the process entails, the costs associated with each option, and the ETA on when I should have my car back. Every thing he said was spot on.
