At Hussey Motors in Myrtle Beach, SC, we are proud to offer an extensive array of automotive and towing services. For towing, we are affiliated with SC Highway Patrol, Horry County Police Department, Geico and Allstate.
Our repair shop was originally located at 711 Broadway Street in a wood building with service bays. In 1955, the wooden building was torn down to build a 3,000 square foot brick building only to increase it to 5,000 square feet in 1956. Over the next 20 years additional properties were purchased and an additional building built to accommodate our growing business.

We were in need of an emergency repair. Being from out of town, we didn't know who to see. The folks at Hussey repaired our car quickly and charged a very fair price, especially considering how quickly they were able to help us. We highly recommend their services.

Mike and his staff are the best at the beach! I usually don't take the time to do reviews but felt that I needed to do this one. It's a nice feeling when you trust your mechanic AND...there is a reason why they have been in business for decades! I take all of my vehicles there and highly recommend them to anyone needing vehicle repair.

We were out of town and they got us in right away. In less then 2 hours he replaced the spark plug and ignition coil. Very fast as we were trying to get back home. The lady running the front desk was extremely nice and very professional. If your in myrtle be.ach nd need repairs give them a call. Very affordable

I was on vacation and had my battery light come on. Went to auto zone and was referred to this business. I was given a price for the part from auto zone, and told that Hussey gets their parts from auto zone. The price I got was $236, give or take a few bucks, no problem. I was also told that that included a lifetime warranty for the part. They got me in, did the repair, all seemed well. My receipt showed, for a new alternator, $299. The rest was for labor. Fine... I get back in my way to Ohio and my battery light continues to come on. I return to Ohio, take it to auto zone... give them my information

I've been doing business with them for over 25 years. Very honest and dependable. When my paycheck depended on my vehicles, they kept me on the road. Sometimes pulling off the seemingly impossible!! Now retired with 1998 Honda. Last month air conditioner went out. Mike and company got it fixed and my old car runs like a new one. Office staff know all info on car. Keeping records about my cars better than my doctor keeps records about me. If you want your car fixed withtout hassle, bring it Hussey

What a complete fall from grace as this business has lost its reputation as being a fair and honest place to have service work done.
I have been a long time customer, and have had my entire families vehicles worked on here dating back to 2005. The awards on the walls tell the entire story, voted car shop of the year in 2004, 2005, 2006.2007,2008 then nothing till 2012, and nothing since.
Made an appointment for my vehicle to have some very minor work done, specifically requested that my car be done by the end of day. Dropped my car off as soon as the business opened. Did not hear a peep from them

Air stopped working on the way to the beach. Called Hussey's and got an 8:00am appointment for the next morning. Quick service, very professional and friendly family owned business. We got their business card for future use. They also work on bicycles which is great to know! Will go back if needed and recommend them to everyone especially out of towners!

This place is awesome. I was in Myrtle Beach on vacation for Bike Week. I had a few issues with my Truck on the way down. When I checked in to my hotel I had asked the front desk for a place to get my truck looked at. They immediately handed me a black n gold business card and said "this is the best shop on the beach". From the time I called Hussey until my truck was finished they were great!!!! I wish I lived down here so they could work on my truck all the time
