Here is our full menu. You can order almost all of these for pick up right here on our website quick and easy! We've worked to get treats for any occasion, mood, or level of hunger. At SmallCakes we have over 250 flavors of gourmet Asheville cupcakes and we bake 14 flavors daily. We have 12 signature flavors that are a staple and we rotate 2 additional specialty flavors to compliment them. Our many regular customers come in every day to find out what our specials are for the day because they just can't get enough, and they love the surprise!
We have 60 unique ice cream flavors that rotate every week, but our 7 signature flavors are a staple. We have many menu items, like our SmallCake Smash and Ice Cream Infused Cupcake, that mix our amazing ice cream with our delectable cupcakes, and you can find them on our cupcakes menu. The environment we've worked to cultivate here has been one of great deserts whether the dessert is in our name or not!
Yes, our big cake selection has grown. Big Cakes are actually a big part of our business, and we want to bring the option to order online to your finger tips. We can do any size cake you want with custom requests welcome. We have options for the sizes, layers, and flavors. You can also choose whether you want an edible picture on your cake, like this one to the right.

Absolutely amazing experience! Truly the best cupcakes I have ever had in my life! 46 years of my life! This will be my go to for all my holiday and celebrations from here on out! I tried one in August and couldn't stop thinking about those delicious cupcakes! It was a hit for my family's Christmas get together! I love this business! Friday I went to T.B.M Smallcakes to order cupcakes to take to my mom on Sunday at her senior living facility in Virginia to celebrate her 88th birthday. I was going to pick the cupcakes up on Saturday because the business doesn't open until 1 pm on Sundays and I needed to get on the road earlier. Rob (one of the owners) said I could not take day old cupcakes to my mom. He asked what time I needed them and I said 11 am on Sunday. He told me to be here and knock on the door and he would have them ready for me. Well that was today and I did and he did! The BEST small business

Small cakes is THE BEST! Not only was the cake delicious (it was divine!), the communication with the owners was excellent. They are both so sweet and kind. They went above and beyond to make sure the color of the cake was exactly what I wanted it to look like- it really looked like the ocean for our shark loving boy. We will definitely be back and I cannot recommend them highly enough. You will not be disappointed!

I can't speak for the quality of the cupcakes but the ice cream was regrettably gross. While the worker said it was made the night before it had a gooey quality to it, like it had thawed and refroze a few times. Tasted like freezer burn. Hard to judge the actual ice cream flavor behind that but the mint I had was pretty strong. Price wasn't bad for the amount of ice cream but the experience of eating it was unpleasant. It might have just been an off day for them but I don't intend to find out.

Picked up some cupcakes for a small pregnancy announcement celebration, everyone was so happy they were from here, the best cupcakes in AVL 💕 the cake in the jar was way too sweet, it was like 75% icing and 25% cupcake. My friend’s husband had a headache from too much sugar. He said it tasted good though lol.

This is my favorite cupcake place and an absolute must if you are in the area. I specifically googled this store while on vacation hoping there was a small cakes in the area. The cupcake flavors won’t disappoint, none are dry and you can’t go wrong with anyone choice! The are not the typical small cupcakes that other places make. Definitely go see Robert at small cakes!

Oh man what a treat! I love all things chocolate so I was very excited to try the Chocolate Cream. It did not disappoint. It's like a Tasty Cake cupcake except a million times better. The chocolate frosting was rich and decadent without being too much. The cream on the inside of the cake part was a delicious surprise as well. 🤤
I also tried the strawberry shortcake (cheesecake?) option as well. It had cream cheese frosting and was also a tasty treat I won't soon forget.
Everything was packaged and served beautifully by a sweet young lady behind the counter. I can't wait to come back to Asheville
