The Listening Stack is open, by appointment only, Monday - Thursday from 10:00am - 5:00pm and Friday from 10:00am - 4:00pm, with late appointments available upon request. No walk-in appointments offered at this time. We are limiting the number of people in our lobby, requiring face covering, and sanitizing all surfaces multiple times a day to insure the safety of everyone.

Best audio earplug store for musicians. I have had Justin and his team create sound blocking in ear phones for loud band practices/ gigs and they are spectacular. Also, custom plugs for nighttime sleeping--amazing.
Called them for help on custom in ear monitors and, again, spectacular extensive help over the phone. This store has the best customer service. Everyone is so nice and helpful ALL THE TIME. They deserve more than 5 stars.

These guys are great! After I got my molds, I mailed them off to 64Audio to be made into in-ears, but unfortunately USPS lost them. I had already moved to Florida, so going back into the store for a new set wasn't an option, so I emailed them, detailing the problem and Justin was able to email the digital version (that I had authorized them to save) into 64, saving me a major headache! That's above and beyond, if you ask me! I'd actually recommend that they do that for all 64Audio orders going forward, so that there's no need for physical molds, nor having to pay postage, and no threat of them

Working with Justin and the rest of the team at The Listening Stack was a pleasure!
I came in for some custom sleep earplugs since I live near a busy highway and sleep at night can sometimes be tough. Justin did the deep ear impressions and explained the whole process to me. I picked out the color I wanted and was told a week later I could pick them up.
2 weeks went by and no call. I stopped in and was told 2-3 more days. A week later I got a call they were ready. Turns out the evacuations from the CZU fires really did a number on them personally, so my experience with delayed delivery of product

I’m 70 years old and challenged by my difficulty hearing and the need to preserve what I still have. On one hand I needed help hearing day to day dialogue, and on the other hand I needed to stay safe during decibel bending attendance at a U2 concert or a San Jose Sharks playoff game. Turned out The Listening Stack was the perfect solution for both.

Justin is a refreshing change of pace compared to the other hearing aid place I was going to before. Rather than trying to impress me with his degrees and the fact that their facility was at a hospital complex and only dealing with one brand of hearing aid, Justin Stack is a broker and vendor for several top brands of hearing aids. Read less expensive. He recommended I go with Starkey because they make the best in-ear hearing aids and that's what I wanted. The results have been fantastic and I am thrilled after a year of ownership. Justin is a regular guy and easy to talk to.

Unfortunate poor communications.
I bought a 150$ custom ear mold for my FIIO IEM via Advanced Sound. They got me in quick and then it all went wrong. No communication the first week. I had to call them. They promised to call me as soon as they were done. Then I found that without calling me they had sent the ear molds via the USPS post office. When the snail mail arrived they were not the color I paid for. Yet they claimed they "mailed" them because they had to follow the instructions... Total uncaring.

Not only are their products fantastic, but their customer service goes above and beyond.
If you value your hearing, these are the folks to visit. Between a life spent on motorcycles and listening to live music my ears might not be in the best shape, but I'm trying to preserve the hearing I've got left. Custom ear plugs with filters for live music keep the sound clean and drop the decibels to keep things tolerable. My in ear monitors are perfect for riding and they even fixed my snoring problem (my girlfriend got custom made sleep plugs)!

I have had three ear operations for surfers ear which means that I've been wearing custom ear plugs for over two+ decades. I have been going to the Listening Stack since they first opened shop off of 41st ave several years ago. Justin is doing what he loves and it shows in his attention to detail, patience and compassion to the issues that hearing problems incur. This, along with his shops ability to create custom earplugs in-house, makes the Listening Stack a hands down go-to for any sort of custom plugs. I'm a dentist and long term exposure to the noise of the drill can destroy my hearing. I know lots of older and retired dentists that need hearing aids. They make fancy noise canceling hearing aids that dental companies market to me, but those start at $6000 a pair. After driving by the Listening Stack many times, I decided go in and see what they offer.
Everyone in there is really nice and knowledgeable. I talked with Justin for a bit and decided on a pair of custom ear plugs with changeable filters. Only cost me a few hundred dollars, way less then the sets the dental companies were

For any of you who need a hearing aid I highly recommend Justin at the Listening Stack. He can work miracles and is fun to work with. His office is immaculate and his receptionist is very very pleasant. He gives you time to wear the devices to check the fit. He will keep working with you until everything is absolutely perfect. Outstanding services and products! I put off getting hearing aids for a long time and when I finally saw Justin, I wished I hadn't waited so long! I walked out that day much more educated about my hearing loss and tinnitus, and with a great set of hearing aids. I also have a way to hear the TV and phone through them using an easy SoundGate system. I sing in a choir and he gave me an adjustment I can change to for just that setting. It has really changed my world! Sally in reception is great too!

Soquel Hearing Aid Center is now called the Listening Stack. When my mother died a few weeks ago I inherited her hearing aids and found Jason at the Listening Stack to be the most affordable place to reprogram them for my ears. Jason answered all my questions and I felt he was an expert at this. He also sells a very cool home entertainment speaker set up that adjusts for only the listener with hearing problems while not for everyone else in the room! Now that's super cool, no more arguing about volume or having subtitles as the solution

Justin, the owner and his staff are awesome! Justin is very professional, honest, knowledgeable and helpful. I saw an advertisement in Good Times for custom surf ear plugs and walked in without an appointment. I was in and out within 15 minutes fitted for my earplugs and never felt rushed. I was able to pick my custom ear plugs up in two days. They can make them in house. They also have really cool custom wireless earphones. They are the best earplugs I've ever had! Really great to see a local business fulfilling the needs of the community and delivering on their promise as well as exceeding expectations

Outstanding on all levels! Justin is knowledgable and informative in a way that makes understanding the complexities of hearing aids reasonable for a lay person. I was in buying hearing aids for my 85 year old mother (who besides hearing loss has a bit of dementia). Justin was extremely patient in working with her. He definitely goes the extra mile to ensure that hearing is optimized, comfort is realized, and that it stays within the budget you have agreed to.
