Follow the sandy coastlines of the beautiful private beaches of Casey and Manasota Keys. If you want to "jump ship", the "Manta" will stop wherever you wish so you can explore the beaches that are not accessible by land. Luckily, all Florida beaches, including private beaches, have legal public access by water and you are allowed by law to walk them, pick up shells and enjoy their beauty from the water's edge, up to the high tide line.

Ash Interment at Sea - Captain John considers it a privilege to conduct an ash internment at sea and providing a keepsake for the family of the latitude/longitude that the ashes were interned. A Celebration of Life ceremony can also be arranged if the family and loved ones would like to accompany the Captain for the internment at sea.

Captain John is the best! He was friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. He has a knack for the details that make a charter experience unforgettable and enjoyable. By far the best charter I have been on. From our own Wilson souvenir, to the Pelican feather bookmarks, Papyas from his garden, photo and videos, along with countless gems of information on the history of the area, wildlife, marine life, plant and arbor life. Beautiful and comfortable boat. Cheers to Captain John, Zoey who swam with the dolphins and the Manta!

Wow!!! Capt John ROCKS!!! His knowledge of the waters and his boat is only surpassed by his first rate hospitality and endless energy. Looking for a fantastic time on the water? Capt John and the Manta is your first and only stop! Cruise around Siesta and Casey Keys? Check!...Stops at the local tiki bars? My husband and I along with friends, Steve and Shari had the best time with Captain John and Zoi, his dog! His knowledge of the area plus charismatic and fun personality made our experience so fantastic!! He captured the day with pictures and video which He shared with us. I cannot speak highly enough of our half day excursion with Captain John! He went above and beyond in every possible way. We didn’t rent a car so he picked us up. The weather was stormy so he shifted our time. The red tide was present so he changed our destination. All the while entertaining us with his facts and stories, and thrilling the kids with the beautiful (and fast!) Manta. We spent a week in gorgeous Nokomis and every single one of us agreed that our boat ride with Seas The Day was hands down our favorite part of the trip. We will definitely be back and next time we’ll do a full day

Captain John was so accommodating! We wanted to go out for the sunset but stay after for the moon and stars, I love being on the water at night. He was the only charter that would do this for us. He made the experience memorable and exciting. We enjoyed the conversation. Will be back for maybe a dolphin cruise next time! Y'all, don't skip a trip with Captain John!

We had the BEST day with Captain John and Wendy!! They made our anniversary and time with family so special! Captain John is very knowledgeable of the area and seeks to give you the best experience. Wendy made… sure we had sunscreen, took pictures, provided floaties, and were comfortable and happy. Boating with first mate Zoe was an added feature which we enjoyed. We were amazed by the dolphins, manatees, huge jelly fish, the rookery, and the sunset! Captain John and Wendy are like old friends! We can’t wait for our next trip to Florida and another voyage on the Manta!

If there's an opening, don't hesitate to book! We did the 'everything tour' and got that and more! The excursion we had was exceptional and made great memories for my husband's birthday. How about a captain that hops out of the boat to take photos of you and your group? That's only one small part of the day but is representative of how Captain John goes above and beyond to make the tour a special one!

This was the most amazing personal tour/cruise I have ever experienced. Captain John and Firstmate Wendy went above and beyond the entire voyage. Beginning and ending at the paradise they call home. We saw it all...gigantic jellyfish, loads of dolphins 🐬, a manatee, turtles 🐢, tiki bar hopped, sunset and an evening swim before heading home. The music was spot on and the photos they took captured every smile. Thank you so much for a wonderful time 💗 Can't wait till next time!

Captain John was amazing! My three girlfriends and I used him for a 10 hour day trip. He was so accommodating to what we wanted to do for the day and also had great recommendations! He is the dolphin whisperer, too! We spotted dolphins and he created a wake behind his boat that the dolphins swam behind for a good 8 min! We got great videos of them jumping out of the water and swimming right behind the boat! His boat, "The Manta" was great too! So comfortable and had great seating and a flat spot in the front to lay out. He made our day so much fun and was so professional. We will definitely
