Eric Recine is a licensed and national board certified Acupuncturist practicing in the Naperville, IL and surrounding area. He received his Masters of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland, Oregon. Eric has also trained and worked as an Acupuncturist/Herbalist for 3 months in Yangshuo, China.
Q: Is Acupuncture painful? A: Acupuncture needles are fine, similar to a human hair. There should be little or no discomfort with insertion, most times patients don't feel anything on insertion. Your safety is our clinic's main concern so we exclusively use, one time use, disposable pre-sterilized needles.

I sincerely wish I had found this place years ago. I suffer from a bone condition that sends excruciating stabbing pains down my leg making walking unbearable. I have just had my second visit with Eric and am now on day 2 of no pain. Unbelievable! I have not felt like this for several years and cannot tell you how grateful I am to him. I look forward to my weekly visits and continued improvement.

Fantastic experience at 12 Pathways Acupuncture! 12 Pathways was the second acupuncture office I tried, the first was further away, had limited experience and I felt pain when the needles were placed. Totally different experience with 12 Pathways! Eric has 20+ years of experience and it really shows. Started coming in as a more natural remedy to increase fertility. My husband and I ended up going down the IVF path and Eric provided great advice about when to have acupuncture around the procedures, and was especially accommodating at scheduling sessions the day of, and week following our embryo

I wanted to be able to supplement my pregnancy journey with a more holistic pathway. Being a Chinese, I believe in the benefits comes with acupuncture. I am also tied of going to Chinatown just to find Chinese acupuncture doctors can’t speak English and have no licenses to practice in US.
Last month, I accidentally ran into Twelve Pathways Acupuncture. My right arm was painful and can’t pick up anything. Dr. Recine gave me 2 sessions of treatments and 95% of my pain and discomfort went away! I will go back to him for treatment until the pain is all gone. Thank you Dr. Recine! Rita

I started going to Twelve Pathways Acupuncture in August of 2020 when my spouse and I started our IVF journey. Eric is wonderful. Not only is he knowledgeable in how acupuncture can help with fertility; he’s also knowledgeable about the other ways acupuncture can help improve your life. I always leave a session feeling relaxed and refreshed. Additionally, I fully believe doing acupuncture helped us to conceive. Safety measures are also in place due to Covid. So since Google will not allow me to write a second review on Twelve Pathways I will just edit this entry. So we decided to go for baby number two and this time around I immediately went to Eric for quality acupuncture treatment. Eric put me on a vitamin regimen and herbs. I highly recommend Eric from Twelve Pathways Accupuncture. After years of trying to get pregnant with fertility treatments we decided to try accupuncture and we are so glad we did. My husband and I were having difficulty with getting pregnant for over a year. A friend of mine recommended acupuncture for fertility so I googled around the area to try to find the best in the area and stumbled upon Twelve Pathways. Got an appointment right away and started my weekly treatment along with the herbal medication. Within 2 months, I got pregnant. I am so glad I chose Twelve Pathways over other acupuncture clinics. I have been a patient of Eric’ s for over two years for help with fertility issues. Accupunture was a non evasive way to help increase my chances of pregnancy. Staying consistent with treatments helped me to eventually conceive. I kept up the treatments with Eric while pregnant for both mine and the baby’s health.

Eric Racine is amazing. I started seeing him at the end of last year because of acute tendonitis in my right wrist and thumb. Within a few weeks, the pain was gone, and now we just do maintenance on it.
