David is a dear friend and my attorney. He's the best. You won't find a better person or attorney this side of the 405. He is incredibly smart and quick, and he understands the nuances of each client's unique situation with grace and ease. Then, he provides sensible counsel, suggestions, and solutions. This type of law involves family. David is aware of that, and sensitive to it. So he's bringing it all: the human sensitivity, and the brilliant legal mind.

David Soffer is smart, understanding, patient and thoughtful. His practice is well organized, his fees are fair. You're getting "big firm" planning at small firm prices and accessibility.
He's available for followup questions post-planning, and doesn't nickle and dime on billing.
David and his team are a great estate planning firm.

Both the lawyer and his staff are utterly incompetent and incapable of managing the disposition of family estates. My father's estate was medium-sized and uncomplicated, but Paul managed to draw out and complicate this process by failing to itemize and include a substantial number of items in the trust, for which he then attempted to charge us. This process has been needlessly prolonged and complicated for no good reason. Word to the wise: avoid this lawyer.
