We offer dance lessons in all styles of dance including ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, contemporary, modern, and lyrical as well as voice classes and acting classes taught by top industry professionals. The Pennsylvania School of the Performing Arts was founded in 1996 by professional dancer and Broadway performer, Terri Garcia-Lee. Terri had a vision to bring professional-level training to Bucks County and create a performing arts school where children of all ages are provided with the best dance training in a nurturing and encouraging environment.
We offer 3 beautiful studios with sprung floors and state of the art sound systems on beautiful lush grounds with pond views! PSPA is looking for an outgoing, enthusiastic, and organized individual to manage our front-desk reception area and provide excellent administrative assistance. This is an ideal job for an empty nester or recent college graduate looking to gain experience in operations, customer service, and marketing!

At PSPA, we provide dress codes so the students and teachers can focus on form and performance, rather than be distracted by clothing. Please see below for dress code for the different classes and levels. Dress code is listed by age. Please bring these items to class along with your dance gear! Make sure to label every thing with your name and try to limit your items to one small dance bag.
Jazz dance is deeply rooted in American history and American Dance. As with many styles it has evolved and changed over the years, but always emphasizes rhythm, energy, and a connection to the Earth. PSPA's jazz classes are perfect for anyone looking to learn the basics of jazz dance as well as improve their jazz technique.

PSPA offers the perfect blend of fun and professionalism for students interested in the performing arts. They offer a great variety of classes in different dance styles, as well as singing and acting classes. The instructors have top notch qualifications which provide students with a rare opportunity to learn from professionals who are/have been on Broadway, in films, and/or in well-known dance companies and crews. The Director and her staff are warm, dedicated, and welcoming. They really take the time to keep you well-informed and make you feel like a valued member of their community. The end

PSPA is hands down the best studio around town. I highly recommend this place. The procedures that have been set in place during COVID-19 is extremely effective and safe. Social distancing, face masks, temperature taking, cleaning procedures, sanitation stations and smaller classes have been instituted. Parents are not allowed past the door, which is greatly appreciated during these times. I thank The Director for having the courage and faith to keep these doors open for in person instruction. Virtual classes are also occurring for families that are not aware and would like to have their children

PSPA has been a great dance studio for my daughter. They have all the right COVID measures in place with sanitizing and temperature checks (and masks of course) and the few times we had to zoom into class was like being there in person. The instructors are wonderful and I highly recommend!!

I have been involved in dance for over 20 years with my daughters when they were younger. We were very involved with the studio doing competitions, production numbers and parents events. My granddaughter started at PSPA last year and did the show at the end of the year. The staff was very friendly and the show was one of the most well done shows I have ever seen. They showcased each little girl and gave them a chance to shine. The technique of the older girls was very good. I am a skeptical person but would recommend this studio.

The best performing arts school ever! From all the amazing teachers to classes this school is amazing! Everyone is so nice and caring and the teachers push you past your limits! You learn so much in every class and our end of the year spring show is an amazing experience! Love going here! Trains you to be a broadway star and a professional dancer!

PSPA is fabulous!!! Ms. Lee and her teachers are wonderful and make you and your little dancers feel welcome as soon as you step foot in the studio. Great technique, phenomenal shows, and caring staff make me so happy that we have found this hidden gem. However, seeing my little girl walk into class with a gigantic smile on her face every week is priceless.

My daughter has been coming here for two years. I have been impressed by the professionalism, the interest in the kids and the quality of the teachers. The teachers are supportive and the kids love them. The yearly shows are of a professional caliber and the best I’ve seen. My daughter enjoys all her classes and I love seeing her in the show. I highly recommend PSPA.

Best dance school- caring, nurturing environment! My daughter considers this her second home. The owner/director has created a culture of love and sisterhood between the girls. My daughter has received first class dance training and love of the arts. Excellence in technique is always emphasized. The owner gets to know all of the girls personally and I love that there are video cameras in all of the studios so I can always watch the classes.

Great little ballet school. They approach their classes professionally and seriously, even though they're catering to little kids...and it's really affordable too. Just $80 a month! The staff has also been a delight to interact with. Apparently, come spring, the ballet year culminates in a mega performance consisting of all of their classes. There's supposed to be ornate costumes, majestic sets, the whole 9 yards. We're truly looking forward to that!

Professional, non-competitive, and fun. Everything you could ask for in a well-rounded dance education. Terri Lee brings in the best teachers in the area for her students - and it shows! Not only do many of her students going on to professional dance/theater careers (and Broadway), but they are all taught from a young age how to act and handle themselves in a professional environment. There is so much encouragement and love in this organization, it is the perfect studio to bring a child through. There is no doubt that this dance school is the best in the Bucks County area.
