Services
Parent/Child classes online or in-person at DOWNSTAGE CENTER STUDIO. 45mins of singing, dancing, stories, and fun! Singing is the name of the game, but we do so much more! Each class is designed with the specific developmental needs of children ages 0-5 in mind. High energy class that is sure to leave your little one energized and humming all day.
A Chance to Dance is scheduled Saturday mornings from 11:30-12:30 during our season (Sept-June). Class has 2 instructors with one assistant and maintains enrollment of approx. 5-10 students. Dancers learn ballet, hip hop and tap dance, expressive movement and creative play based on dance. The 60-minute class is loosely structured with dance as the foundation, but with freedom to individualize, depending on the students needs.
During our classes we will maintain a healthy environment with exciting challenges and personal training. Misconduct of any kind will not be tolerated. Dancers agree to dance at their own risk. Riva Productions Downstage, Inc. is not responsible for injuries. Students are supervised by teachers during class time only.

Best dance studio around! So professional and personable at the same time. The owners are amazing people and all of the teachers are great. And these recitals are like nothing you've ever seen in terms of quality. I highly recommend DSC if you want great quality dance instruction. The way they handled the covid pandemic was amazing! You'll not be disappointed sending your girls or boys here.

I am a student here and all the teachers are so wonderful! It might not be a competitive dance studio, but it sure is amazing! This year i'm doing 4 classes: Tap ll, Ballet ll, Jazz ll, and Jazz-pop ll. It truly is amazing here and the owner ( who also teaches Zomba ) is the kindest person in the universe! There are even summer classes if you want to join the next year and be in the same age level. There are also SO many activities, like: The Christmas Concert, Trenton Thunder, The 76ers Game, And the Recital in June!

I myself am a student here an let me just say..I TOTALLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!! No, it may not be a competitive studio, but you can learn a lot from here! There are classes from pre-dance to high school, there are the best dance teachers in the universe, and there are also private lessons!!! I myself have never had one but i have heard good things from people who have. I am doing 3 classes this year including Intro To Pointe, Tap III, and Ballet III. And that is just scratching the surface of the classes here. Again, I totally recommend this place and it is open to anyone with a passion for dance

Two years ago we made a decision to move my daughter from the dance studio that she had danced at for six years. It was the best decision that we have ever made. All of the teachers at this studio are wonderful. They encourage their students to dance to the best of their ability and most of all to love dance. The performance that they put on at the end of the year is like watching a Broadway show. If you want your child to learn in a positive environment, then Downstage Center is the place for you.
