Dr. Potts is great when it comes to performing surgery, but that’s when it ends. I have dealt with so many setbacks since because it is impossible to get a call back from him or his staff. I ended up having to go to urgent care and then the ER which was full of Covid patients because my knee kept worsening and after calling Dr Potts’ office consistently for 2 days and never getting a response I had no other choice because the pain was unbearable and I had every symptom of having blood clots. If I had known there would be such poor follow up care I would have chosen another practice.

I initially came on here to leave a review for Dr. Potts since I am incredibly happy with the outcome of my shoulder surgery as well as the entire process. However, I saw the negative review left by TL and felt compelled to say something. I was in clinic the same day for my follow-up and was shocked to hear yelling and screaming in the clinic, including obscenities and very inappropriate remarks from this irrational patient. I am not sure of this patient’s situation, but Dr. Potts and his staff couldn’t have handled it any better. I can assure you that Dr. Potts is an incredibly talented surgeon

Dr Potts Saw me as quickly as possible and evaluated my knee issues. I have always been impressed with the fast diagnosis and explanations of such. Dr Potts tells it like it is and the best course of action.
In addition he has the friendliest office staff of any Dr I have seen.
I always recommend him when asked for a personal referral!

Dr. Potts and his staff are truly outstanding. I arrived early for my appointment with a severely broken shoulder, right shoulder and I’m right handed. The staff was wonderful and noticed that I had difficulty filling out the paperwork and helped me with that.
I was taken right in to be x-rayed and the technician was very gentle, kind and professional.
I had already visited another orthopedic practice who did not respond to my phone calls. They improperly diagnosed me and caused me great discomfort and pain.

Dr Potts and his staff were courteous, attentive, friendly, and he took the time to fully explain my condition and treatment options. I am extremely satisfied with the professionalism and demeanor of Dr Potts and his team. He came highly recommended by a well-respected physician and met all of my expectations so far. I’ll update this post after my surgery and comment further after my post-op appointments.

I was referred to Dr. Potts office after my regular orthopedic doctor dismissed me from his practice because there was nothing else he could do. After one visit with Dr. Potts he made a game plan and we scheduled surgery. I am only a month out from surgery and have been recovering very well and expected to be able to run again in a year. His office staff is amazing. He also called the day after surgery to follow up with me. I highly recommend Dr. Potts!

What a pleasant experience. From the moment I walked in the front desk was super friendly. When the assistant brought me to my room to discuss what was going on she listened to me. After having an X-ray the Dr Potts came in and explained things thoroughly and answered all my questions. Even when I was leaving they all made sure to wish me well. This was so refreshing since my last orthos office was the complete opposite.

I was very impressed with Dr. Potts' experience, knowledge, and communication of issues and planning. After an x-ray, MRI, follow up with the doctor, and finally surgery two weeks ago, and today's follow up to get the stitches out, I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Potts to anyone seeking help for a hip issue. Today the doctor reviewed the surgical photographs with me, and WOW. He did fabulous work, and I have been feeling better and better every day after the surgery, which was really two surgeries: the hip labrum and the bursa/IT band. I am extremely happy with the care I received from Dr. Potts and his staff! After suffering from terrible knee pain for over 6 years I was feeling frustrated and not getting answers or help from the orthopedic surgeon I was seeing. A friend who had knee surgery performed by Dr. Potts recommended him and I am so glad I made an appointment and was able to finally get answers and relief from Dr. Potts. I am very happy with the results of the partial meniscectomy that Dr. Potts performed, he is not only a talented surgeon he has a great bedside manner and he and his staff have been really great.

My initial visit to Dr Potts' office was for consultation about very persistent pain in my right arm and shoulder. Following careful examination and reviewing my answers to his detailed questions, he recommended an MRI of the affected area. The MRI confirmed his skillful diagnosis of muscle and tendon damage. He performed a picture perfect shoulder operation to repair the said damages. I'm extremely pleased with the results and great-full for the professional services provide by Dr. Potts, his clinical staff, and the professional crew at Northside Hospital before and after the operation.

Dr. Potts has an incredible resume & a great team surrounding him from admins, to nurses, to AT’s. After a lot of frustration surrounding my ACL/Meniscus repair in January (with a different surgeon), I ended up having a massive cyclops lesion holding me back (look it up). Dr. Potts was committed to quickly doing whatever it took to get me where I wanted to be and playing sports/exercising again. With the annual ski trip with the boys a couple months from now, I had been worried I wouldn’t be ready for it, but now just a little over 2 weeks out from my clean-out procedure with Dr. Potts, I am

I unfortunately have had to have many surgeries throughout my 56 years on this planet and have seen many different orthopedic surgeons. Dr. Potts is by far the best I have ever seen. I have now had four different surgeries with him and his professionalism, knowledge, bedside manner and approach to getting me well are unmatched. He genuinely cares about his patients. I feel confident that when I am in his hands, I am going to be well taken care of. I have to thank him from the bottom of my heart for all he has done for me!

I might retract one star for this office's interface with the public. Leave a message? Really? In the 21st Century?
However, the staff is great! I dealt with Shani, who was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. I also dealt with Dr. Potts' PA, Logan, who was personable and professional. Kayla the nurse is always friendly and helpful.
Dr. Potts really seems to know what he's doing and is very professional. He took care of my labrum issue, and for the first time in almost two years I am pain-free in the hip!! I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO EVERYONE!

My story will be a long one, so if you don't have time to read, feel free to move on to the next review.
I will start off by saying; Dr. Potts and his team of professionals have been the best to work with- ever. I don't say that lightly as I have seen my share of medical professionals over the years.

I had terrible hip pains in my hip on both sides that radiated down into my thighs that was unresolved with pain medicine. The pain intensified over time and I could no longer exercise as every step was increasingly painful. I was at wits end and saw many doctors trying to identify the source of this pain which I was now feeling everyday even when I was not exercising. I was diagnosed with bursitis and other spinal issues all of which didn't explain my daily pain. I saw Dr. Potts partner first who referred me to Doctor Christopher Potts. I saw Dr. Potts the following week and he reviewed my

Doctor Potts took the time to explain my injury in detail and what may have caused it. He also took his time to go through all of my options and explain the steps he would take to repair my injury. The scar from my surgery is so tiny because Dr. Potts was able to do my surgery arthroscopically and still repair all issues the first time. After surgery, he had follow ups with me and my physical therapists to get details on my recovery to make sure I was healing correctly. Dr. Potts and his nurse always respond quickly to any questions I have to make sure my recovery is going well to be there for
