Academy Orthopedics, LLC is currently seeking a full-time administrative medical assistant for our practice. Our Administrative Medical Assistants are an integral part of our office team and play a primary role in the coordination of follow-up care for every patient. The ideal candidate should be familiar with general medical terminology, anatomy, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Academy Orthopedics takes great pride in providing quality care for patients of all ages. Our board-certified physicians treat many different types of orthopedic problems which include general orthopedic care for sprains, fractures, torn ligaments, back problems, and any other musculoskeletal problems.
Joint replacement is a surgical procedure in which the worn, damaged surfaces of the joint are removed and replaced with new artificial parts. Your doctor may consider a joint replacement if you have severe pain which limits daily activities and is not relieved with medications, injections, physical therapy, or other treatments.
I highly recommend Academy Orthopedics. Dr. Jesse Seidman is a talented surgeon. His knowledge of knees, ankles, and shoulders is amazing. He has a great "bedside manner" and wonderful personality to make you feel comfortable even if you're in pain! The office staff is friendly and very helpful as well.

Office staff was so nice and attentive. They made you feel totally at ease. Wish I could say the same about Dr. Duckett. Although he was not impolite, he was cold and talked AT me…not TO me. There was no discussion, only his explanation of “the procedure” and what he was going to do. I am sure he knows his business and is good at what he does, but it wouldn’t hurt him to smile and attempt to make a patient feel more at ease. Instead, he comes across as cold and uncaring…and, I, as the patient, left feeling like a number and uncertain whether I would be willing to follow up with him.

The nursing staff, X-ray Tech and Doctor Duckett were very kind, funny, and even went along with my excitement at seeing my own synovial fluid....retired Paramedic, always get excited about medical "stuff"!

Dr. Katz was great. He took his time to understand my injury and answered all of my questions. He was honest with his medical opinion on what I could expect going forward with the type of injury I have and what I can expect going forward. My wait time was minimal and the entire staff was very friendly and professional. I would recommend Academy Orthopedics to anyone looking for a good orthopedic doctor.
